    Thnking about Buying..

No Shaker audio system? I have heard of guys paying from 300-600/mo depending on their situation and how much was put down. I was going to buy a new one for 26,750, but with my old Mustangs t/i value was not enough at the time to cover the outstanding loan, so I was looking at 540/mo. 8000 of...

    350Z vs GT

:dead: I don't know. It would be close, but I'd think both of you would lose when said wife drives by in '03 Cobra. And it's droid#83853 FTW! Tell 'em about the new Imperial Blaster he just won Johnny!

    Opinions needed

You need some spinning dubs. That should set you apart.

    Mercon V, not synthetic

If you aren't putting Royal Purple Synchromax in, you might as well just piss in it.

Gosh our stock H pipes suck.

I wonder why the stock h-pipe is so bad. Is it the pipe diameter? Or maybe the cats Ford uses? I had a catted Bassani once, and I could tell that the car seemed to run better, and had more throttle response compared to the stock h-pipe.

    Civic Si

It could have been an early 90's E36 based M3 with auto, or one of the late 80's E30 type M3's. Those were both low 15-ish in their day. Add a few years and miles, then who knows. I don't pay any mind to Japanese cars. I don't see many of the actual fast Japs anymore. All those twin turbo cars...

    I hate my car

Ford probably has a tool for that. Or they don't pull it off. One of the two. I should invent a mini spring compressor. Something for little springs like that. Anybody have some capital to front this venture?

    Are alarms worth it?

Don't get a KARR brand alarm. It goes into your factory stuff. It has a starter killer and all that. Is just like the PATS, but now I have two systems running....... The dealer put in a KARR alarm on mine as part of their "standard package" for all cars. I wanted it off, but the bank said no...

    Self mounting tires?

I want to see someone try to mount a super stiff non-flexing sidewall with a gorilla grip bead at home. I'd put tickets on sale, because it'll be a great comedy act. It takes high dollar equipment to mount those tires. I doubt WalMart can do it. They couldn't even mount my 245/45's on stock 17''...

unaligned body seems. anyone else have this?

They had to cover the costs of the Five Hundred and building those supercar GT's. The GT cost like what, triple the sale price to build if you added the R&D costs in? I know the Five Hundred was a waste.

Why can't Ford bring this up here!!!!

Quality and a fanatical fan base. Honda and Toyota owners only buy Honda and Toyota. Plus, the styling doesn't age as quickly. I think German cars age the best, and American cars are outdated in styling the following year. I can't stress the quality issue though. The overall fit and finish of...

    I'm old, fat & lazy

These guys are getting in depth. That's too much for those OF&L guys. That is a lot of wax on, wax off. I like the syn's cause they can be applied in the sun, and in different temps.

unaligned body seems. anyone else have this?

Yep. Uh-huh. Wang-O. I have the same issues. My fenders do not sit flush with the doors when looking down from the top, the gap between fender and windshield is different on each side, my hood scoop is about to fall off, and my passenger side ground skirt is barely hanging on. Poor quality isn't...

    I'm old, fat & lazy

+1 O,F,&L I use Eagle One Nanowax spray. Wash your good, then spray and wipe. It works wonders, and lasts a fair amount of time. Nothing lasts forever though. I found the shine to be as good as everything else I've tried, short of full on all day sweat and work waxing. I used to spend a whole...

    OT: Motorcycle License

I think state DMV's are outta of control and should be Fedealized. We need Federal licensing and regulations. The way things work now, you must complete the approved motorcycle safety courses and test in the state of licensing. You can't get a license in one state, then get endorsements in...

Why are the seats in my car bit different??

Interior upgrade package. You get Cobra headrests, shifter trim, silver door locks, Bullitt pedals, and I think something else.

Why can't Ford bring this up here!!!!

More than 35K? It's obvious you live in Canada. They pay obscene prices for everything there. Plus a health care system that is actually not that great. But you can work two days and retire for the rest of your life. Canada's not so bad after all. I miss BC and Alberta.

    show us the AALLLLTTTEEEZZZZAAAASSS

The Gone in 60 Seconds remake with Nicholas Cage was about the best driving movie I've seen that would be considered in my generation. The first Fast and Furious was watchable, but after that I never saw anything more than pieces of the other two.

Why did Paul Walker have to ruin his career with those Fast and Furious films........:nonono: Not like he was doing much before though.
