    please help get me into the 13's

    get some drag radials and work on your 60' times down to like a 1.9, 2.0 and maybe a tb/plenum combo and 4:10s and you should hit 13s. Or just buy a kenne bell from MPH

    Yeah i guarantee that is what your problem is cause it happened to me. Thats what i was talking about above.

    i dont see what could have happened to it because i took the tranny out then towed it to my barn then put the new one it...it was out for 6 months but now i dont know what to do.

    It could be cause its jacked up but i dont see why the shifter would sit so far to the right. Here are some pics that i took notice how its sits to the right. I would think it would cause severe vibration being so out of line but i dont know what would cause it. It really is not that bad...

    Cant get tranny out!!

    they are not connected to the engine but to the transmission but it wont allow the tranny to slide out if its still on there...it hits the flywheel

    well i looked for pics of what it looks like and found a pic on yellowmustangregistry.com of a pro 5.0 shifter install and its way off. if i can i will take some quick pics and post them up. But it is definitely off to the right for some reason.

    Cant get tranny out!!

    make sure the plate type thing that goes between the tranny and engine to shield the flywheel is unbolted. There are 2 small bolts at the bottom that hold it on...I forgot to take them off and i couldnt get the tranny off.

    I was thinking and i dont know why the tranny crossmember wouldnt line it up into the correct spot. Thats what moves it to the right. The crossmember is labeled top R on it and im assuming R means the passanger side right.

    Everything is bolted up correctly from the tranny to the engine it sits fine. Does anyone have a pic of the shifter bolted to the transmission without the shifter boot on it? It kind of looks like the driveshaft is off as well. I dont want to put it back together then get a bad vibration...

    I wouldnt buy a 16 yo kid a car anyways...especially if he already had a vehicle and totaled it. Usually when you have a car given to you it doesnt turn out that well especially at 16. I say let him buy his own vehicle thats what i had to do.
