    A pi engine is literally a drop in replacement, everything is the same. Exhaust bolts up the same, trans, everything. It will run totally fine on the stock tune. Its actually about 60hp. The only way to really know how bad the damage is, is to pull the heads off.

    If you want easy cookie cutter type hp, yeah get a centrifugal supercharger. If you have testicles, you want a turbocharger.

    I have a buddy that has a 03 mach, comp cams, stock long block with longtubes and a ported shortrunner manifold (stock casting). He is in the 375rwhp range. The thing pulls to 7200 so strong. It is a great car. He has 4.56's as well.

    Yeah intake is prolly toast. Do yourself a favor and put a pi intake on it. It looks like yours has the pos dorman on it.

    When I worked at steeda, we sold tons of those kits. The cable needs to be a oem cable, and the aftermarket cable is not as strong. But if your running a stock clutch, you will not have a problem.

    does the clutch engage right off the floor? put in in 1st gear with the clutch in and see if it rolls with the brake off. sounds like it is the clutch to me.
