Did you try disconnecting the horn button and see if the cig lighter makes the horn go off, and vice versa?

Cracking Intake Imminent? Or just a failing gasket?

I didnt think the PI intake would fit on the 96 non-PI heads... you mention the PI cams & intake, but not the heads. If it does fit, what mods did you have to do? I had the older, non alum crossover intake split on me right by the T-Stat, but I was lucky enough that it was a big crack and...

    Swap done... misfiring bad though

Could be bad plugs, what kind did you put in? Also, does your 3.8 (you didnt mention a year or anything in your post) have DIS? I've chased my tail many times and ended up having a bad coil pack that would only misfire at low RPM for some reason.

    4 to 8 swap ?'s

I've always heard that the Holly EFI box kit was a good matched combo. Holley Performance Products I've never used it, but it has gotten good reviews and , hey, aside from the intake spacer and valve covers, it comes with everything else.

15x6 Street Lites w/ 99-04 PBR GT Brakes (5 Lug Swap)

Check out this post here... Wheel Backspacing/Offset And look for JohnnyGMachine's post, he used the 15x3.5 w/1.75" BS and a 7/16" spacer... it seems like your 15x6 w 3.5" BS will work, but I have yet to do my 5-Lug conversion yet. I have too many other things to do first ... :bang:

    spring question

If it drops it at all, the most I have ever seen from a production drop kit is 1" to 1.5". Hyperco seems to be racing springs and are not really make/model specific, you would have to get the part # of the springs you are looking at buying and compare them to the stock springs to see if you...

    Throw Out Bearing?

Sounds like it's pretty far along if it just 'dies down a little' when the clutch pedal is pressed. I'd get it in to fix it right away (or do it yourself) before your mom is stranded on the side of the road b/c of a TO bearing... I know the feeling, mine did that to me, it pretty much melted to...

    Throw Out Bearing?

How many miles does it have on the clock? I had a 96 GT, my cousin has a 96 Cobra and a friend had a 97 Cobra, granted they are older vehicles, but all three of them seized up the TO bearing around 90K miles. They also started about the same also, a little whining noise that would be noticable...

gonna do a sn95 front swap and northracecars rear kit...what are the wheel specs?

Well, 10" rims will fit with their axles, but depending on the tire size, it may rub the fender well.

gonna do a sn95 front swap and northracecars rear kit...what are the wheel specs?

I got a response from Richard Oben from North Race Cars and he says that larger wheels (17 or larger) with a 24mm offset will work with their kit.

gonna do a sn95 front swap and northracecars rear kit...what are the wheel specs?

I just emailed them this morning, I was thinking the same thing and had asked them that question also. I dont want to worry about offset and backspacing, and apparently if you use their axles, it retains the fox wheel track, but I wanted them to clarify it for me. I'll let you know what they say.
