    Two questions, one is about hoods, the other about road courses

    Love my Cobra R... I think it looks great. You can definitely see it from behind the wheel. It has maybe a 3 or 4 inch raise on the back side. It is significantly lighter than a stock hood also. My hood struts push it up so fast it almost pulls them out if I let it go...

    Oils and filters

    Motorcraft 5w-20 and MC filter (from wal-mart)... 89k miles with no issues and 5k mile oil changes. Probably need to do an oil analysis on it though just to see... Royal Purple in the rear end of my race car only... Valvoline 75w in the tranny, Valvoline VR1 20w-50 in the motor. Fram HP3...

    I put a 2001 in my 2003 so I'd go with the 2001 to 2003 for sure. 99 and 04 I'd say would probably work.

    4.10s in and whining!

    Just a note...I paid $390 to Ford to install my 3.73's and they never whined. They only lasted a year before somehow my rear end was completely out of fluid...not sure how that happened as there wasn't any leakage on the ground.

    Didn't this used to be a common issue on '01-'04 model mustang where it would just up and die when coming to a stop with the clutch depressed? I know mine's done it 3 times since I've had it. The first time it only had 30,000 miles.

    Help with tires....

    I love my KDW2's. I've put about 30,000 highway miles on them, but once they start wearing they wear fast. They are OK in the rain. I've hydroplaned once due to my own stupidity and I have a 295 back tire... The wider they are, the worse for hydroplaning. No driving in the snow for me...
