    Tri-ax shifter handle?

    If I remember correctly, it's not just the handle that's shorter. The actual nub that the handle attaches to is shorter also I believe. The handle isn't what makes the tri-ax better, it's the shifter. I've used the stock handle on the tri-ax and it's definitely nothing to do with the handle :)

    The 4:10 is in!

    It was a noticeable jump from the 3.27's to 3.73's in my car so I can only imagine for yours! Start off in 2nd gear in the rain unless your tires will hold. My KDW2's don't do so well but they are 295's.

    We need to rehabilitiate! Now I gotta find that roll eyes smiley. You get a second felony charge before you're 18 on this matter and the kid needs to go away. Apparently his "rehab" didn't work. Slap my hand instead of punishing me I'll probably do it again...

    If you ever plan to drive in the rain with those tires...I'd probably say don't also. Hydroplaning becomes a serious issue even at normal speed with these widths.

    Check the manufacture's recommended rim width. 335's I think are too big for a 10" and 305's are about max. 295 are optimum if I remember correctly when I bought my 18x10 Saleens.

    18's and lowered stang

    Eibach Pro Kit here with Saleen 18x9/10's. BFG KDW2's 255/40/18 front & 295/35/18 with 0 issues rubbing. I went with the 255 front as opposed to 265's because a narrower tire is less likely to "railroad" down the road. The 255's follow the road ruts pretty good every now and again. It screws...

    T-Lok clutch packs bad

    Thinking about doing a whole gear install on it really and just take it to someone to set the lash. Gotta remember where those non-crushable sleeves are though. I think those things will save me some trouble.

    3.73's installed by Ford. I put close to 30,000 miles on them before something gave way in the tranny (bearing?) and had 0 whine and 0 vibration.

    I jack elsewhere now. I bent one so bad it started to screw up the body panel on the right side.

    I got a '00 rear end in my '03 I got out of a junker and it seems like the clutch packs are gone in it. It's gotten pretty bad on low speed turns where it's almost vibrating. I saw in the latest manual update that 75-140 is the new rear oil. I got some but I'm thinking they clutch packs...

    Hood + bumper opinions

    Be careful if you get the 00R front bumper...it's pretty low. If I could have cut off the bottom lip I'd have been fine.

    Clutch cable slap sound

    I've had an issue with my clutch cable sound like it's slapping whenever I'd push in the clutch at a low speed. Just put in a firewall adjuster, quadrant and new cable and that has appeared to fix the problem. Just a possible solution for future searchers.
