    The relay box or the multifunction switch could be the culprit...usually the mf wiper stalk. I wouldn't bypass it, i would hit the yard or classifieds for fox body stang wiper control modual if that is what is bad.

    yes it fits, but the SC engine did have mods that accompanied that SC, it isn't necesarily a bolt on afair.

    Shift points. 4.10's are the only way to go with the AOD/E trans. Get a tune after to set the shift points correctly along with a jmod or shift kit. Been there done that, don't use Transgo and don't use B&M Good luck.

    WOT OD shift or not, 7000rpm sounds pretty f'n wild for a shift setting. Unless I don't follow you, you are saying you want OD to shift at 7000RPM! That is insane...maybe you mean 700. I know you do a bit of AODE/4R work, so please fill me in, as you are SCT tuner as well. As for the OD...

    The EEC is better yes, and you get the ability to use the AODE/4R70W as a bolt up affair...pretty cool, but like was mentioned...alot of work for just an EEC swap.

    lockup for street or low stall non lock....3500 non lock would NOT be a good AOD converter for street.

    The 4R70W gearset changes the shift schedualing to be pretty messy unless you mod the VB correctly or use a manual vb. As for No od...I would suspect the TV cable is too tight or your od servo is leaking/not engaged properly.

    we found our problem...the maf for dirty as heall and the resitor was broke to boot....ended up being a 3.8L MAF before it was done. Stupid people.

    STOCK rockers are 1.6...so yes...duh. And most 1.7's will clear, if not, then you just cut the baffles.

    if it were me, I would use an AOD or 4R70W....call me crazy, but both have OD for street use, and both have equally strong and stronger internals. Especially with the 4R70W being able to hold 400 HP in STOCK form with a shift kit.

    I personaly know a guy qho popped his Artcarr C4 this last weekend at the track. Doesn't sound like a good track record. Unfrotunatly he won't let me open it up, due to warrenty reasons I am sure.

    unplug the o2's....does it run the same? Only then, would I suggest it be the TFI.
