    Yeah... they have the car listed as stolen... the ONLY way they could get tags for it is if they swap out the VIN. In that case, the cops should be able to find it as all they would need to do is check to see what Mustangs 1987 - 1993 have had new tags applied... since it probably doesn't happen...
