Opinions on 1 1/2" long tubes?

You're right. But somebody already did all that. Looks like they took a stock h-pipe, cut the front cats off, and welded on 3" flat three hole flanges reduced down to 2 1/2". I am running dumps now anyway so the catback isn't an issue... The Fel Pro exhaust gaskets are 1.28 x 1.48 or...

Opinions on 1 1/2" long tubes?

Not yet, still debating whether I should go thru the trouble of putting them on. I can understand 91HATCH's point (even though he's yelling all the time lol)

Opinions on 1 1/2" long tubes?

I got a smokin deal on a set of 1 1/2" long tubes with 3" collectors. I always thought if you're going to do long tubes, you go with 1 5/8" or 1 3/4" primaries. Is it worth it to put these on? I'm planning on a 3" Pro Chamber with the headers... I have a TFS Track Heat HCI btw

Never put up pics of my car on here before so here they are! (PICS)

How did you make the antenna move out of the way when the squirters go off? That's trick. That vegetable oil thing is dangerous as hell!! What if someone got in an accident cause they couldn't see because of your motor oil or smeared veggie oil on their windshield??

EGR valve hitting FPR, pics inside.....

I also have a Trick Flow top end kit and ran into this same problem, as well as my friend with his GT. I think the location of the opening for the EGR and throttle body is closer to the center of the intake making it closer to the FPR. I also noticed two of my friends' CAI's rub on their...

Those with summit/jegs seats in a fox...

I drilled holes in the stock rails and bolted them to the Summit seats, but had to weld the front bolts because I'm tall. The tracks will be very narrow but that's ok. Then take some flat 3/8 thick stock and bolt them to the factory seat tracks. Then drill holes where the studs and holes are on...

I've never seen a beige interior on a fox. The rest of the car is ridiculous. It should not exist.

trick flow top end kit *need help adjusting rockers*

Some people do 1/2, others 3/4. If you do a half turn and they are noisey, do 3/4. Just keep spinning the pushrod until you feel resistance and you can't turn it as freely anymore. You just don't want to crank it down or have them too loose. hope that isn't too general... good luck

    Ticking

I think he means header gasket. It's a tough one to diagnose because there is more than one thing that could cause that type of sound in that area. It was a header gasket for me once, a stuck lifter, and just plain old rocker noise another time. With the header gaskets, it really pays to use...
