    What if my air is slowly getting warmer every day? last week at this time it got so cold i would turn it off, 3 days later it got slightly warmer and now it barley gets cold, i would call it luke warm air.

    just thought i would say how my exhuast went. compared to my no muffler set up, its very quiet, yet its still louder compared to some cars. even though its quite, it has a NICE sound, very low pitch sounds hot ;) my set up its a y pipe going to 2 cherry bombs into 2 tail pipes at 2 1/4...

    look on ebay, they have TONS of white gauge faces for lx mustangs. they go from 8$ to 50$. it may say 5.0lx v8, just look the pics, everything is the same 85 mph speedo, 6000rpm tach, all the other guages.

    no im going it purly for the looks, dual tailpipes is hot on an lx. and i already noticed some performance gains, but i wont get anythign significant unless i get a magnaflow cat, or cut them off completely. but thats to much time, i get my pipes put on today after school :)

    yea i had a turo muffler before i cut it off. it sounded good, buy everyone said it sounded ricey. not that i have no muffler everyone tells me it sounds like a beast, and asks what i did to it. i am only getting the thrush striaght through to please my dad.

    i dont want cherry bombs, my dad is making me get them to quite the noise of my current straight pipes. and yes dougs muffler ONLY uses stainless steel and my bad, im not getting a cherrybomb, im getting a dynomax thrush. but they are like the same thing.

    well i think i am jsut going to go with no muffler, if anything i will put on a thrush resonator to add back pressure to prevent my valves from burning. all in all i like the sound, adding pipes will quite the sound down too, since mine exits under the drivers seat currently

    how much performance can be gained by getting a performance cat? cuase i want all new pipes for my car, probably with a trush resonator instead of a muffler, and a local muffler show will do all that for around 200$. and i have heard the performance cats are expensive.
