    What would you do?

LOL, but no question in his mind that he was getting a bonus? Seems like a great guy though. Pay off the cars, you can always buy the mods later with those cards if you choose to. Dan

Looking to get an intake and tuner

JLT or C&L, the two best for our cars. As for the tuner, Bamachips or Brenspeed are great dealers, and there are a few others that also do good mail order tunes.

    Cats or no cats?

The Macs are mid length headers. I personally would have gone with the prochamber, but I don't believe it really makes any difference, power wise. You can always have cats welded in to you setup, though they will be lower than stock which shouldn't be an issue. Dan

    Hurst Billet Shifter

If lube worked you might try packing it with grease, since that will have more "staying" power than a liquid lubricant. And out of curiosity, what about the first shifter was defective? Dan

    Anyone heard of Boost Brothers

Well, Y'all are from Florida... :D

    Stress points?

The other option is to get a truck:D

    BMR Kmember

The install on these is pretty simple, though an engine hoist helps. Two bolts bolting in the steering rack, two bolts for the engine mount, 6 bolts for the front control arms, and 8 bolts holding the K-member to the car. That's it, though if you replace the front control arms too than you have...

Any corner carvers remember this company?

A little bit, but they look to be making a push back into the main market. Looks like they are working on some interesting pieces too. Dan

    Stress points?

He might not hit the bump-stops with the stock springs, but either way it isn't that difficult to bottom-out these cars, though difficult enough to where I would have to deliberately try to do so. First, the only major stress points will be at the bump stops, as that is what you're hitting...

Support Bracket on top of rearend housing?

The SN95 and Fox chassis had a four link rear suspension, and not a proper one at that... This particularly awful reincarnation of a four link used bind between the four arms to center the axle, meaning as the axle raised and lowered the arms would fight against each other distorting their...

    New 08 GT new problems!

Depending on how bad it is they should. I have a few rattles, but only very minor. If it's obvious then I would think they'd have to. Dan

ran into a really nice s197

LOL, hes got the old FRPP CAI but four N2O bottles... And, of course, the obligatory "Devil May Cry" background.

    Initial Mods - Opinions Wanted!

If you're planning on going FI, there is only one supercharger I know of where a CAI may fit, the Saleen. Everything else has a different TB position, so the C&L will be worthless to you. Exhaust looks fine. You could do longtubes as well, they have shown some very good gains on FI cars. ARH...

Comp. Cams "Mutha Thumpr" #MT273LL Cams?

Your not the first one to say that about comp cams, http://forums.stangnet.com/779001-comp-cams-127500-cams-blow-racing-lockouts.html Those are the stage 2 XFI cams. Dunno, I think its the cams with O/R H-pipes, and perhaps certain axle back combos too. Dan

    Anyone heard of Boost Brothers

A lot of issues to deal with there. Looks like it's just a few guys in their garage bending pipe, but one hell of a deal if you're willing to make it work. And if they're made in the US, I'm all for it. Anyone have a picture of the inside of the collector? I'm not so sure about bending the...

    Custom Tune Gremlins!!

That's just a PCV line, shouldn't make too much of a difference, though you never know what little change will drive the computer nuts. Dan

Any corner carvers remember this company?

Kenny Brown is still around, kennybrown.com . What I read on their site about a year ago was that Kenny got cancer and the company suspended operations while he was in therapy. Some of their stuff was good, some not so good, as I recall. Dan

GT500 Throttle Body with Whipple s/c

I think it's just about matching your application. If you're using the stock intake manifold, I don't think upgrading the stock TB will do a lot. But if you get a new intake manifold that flows more, an upgraded TB to match would probably be appropriate. Dan

    Custom Tune Gremlins!!

Check to see if your CMC plates are sticking, that could easily cause your issue. It could be a gunked up throttle body, but I find that less convincing. Both of those are easy to check, maybe an hour to clean both. Cleaning the CMC plates does require removing the intake, but that really is a...
