    Bad Pulley? Sqeaks bad!!!

    I am having the same problem with my DD. I just noticed it earlier this week , I can hear it when the car starts and idles , I can't hear it inside the car while driving. The belt is only about a year old , will check pulleys this weekend.

    called d & d abck got a diffrent guy on the phone and he said it is ok to take bellhousing apart just to be careful when reinstalling to get all bolts tight and to do so in a star pattern . thanks for the reponses

    Seat removal on my '86.

    on mine the front studs come out with the bolts , so keep turning , you can not get to the studs from the bottom of the car . hope this helps
