I want to add a Compression Tester and/or a Leakdown Tester to my toolbox. Anybody have a good on-line source I can purchase at? What brand should I look for? There are quite a few out there.

It's very very slight really. You can hardly hear it, and even then only when you're on it.

    Looking for Transmission Purchase Sources?

Pricing both the T56 and TKO 500, and all associated parts/pieces. I've written and heard back from X2C, but would like to e-mail D&D and any other good sources. D&D doesn't list an e-mail on their website. Anybody have an address for them? Any other suggestions?

A stock motor will not see the type of gains being shown here, but if you open up the inlet airflow and the exhaust, have a good tune and use high octane gas you will see mid 400's rwhp with torque to match. If you just throw the KB on a stock motor you'll still see great gains, but I doubt...

Is there a break in period for new rear end gears?

Holy Crap! No wonder so many people on so many forums have complaints about gear noise. With as many ways to break in (or not) on this thread alone will tell you why. You must heat cycle gears, about 50 miles will do (although it is recommended 300-500), change the oil and CHECK FOR...

    tire recommendations

KB = Fun! Tire brands aside, here's the thing you'll find with the KB 9# Intercooled, torque crazy, wheel spinning, tire screeming blower. If you have as much fun as I do, and put as many miles on your car as I do, go for the balance of cost and performance rather than just "what's the best...

Ok, I'm lost... old and lost. What did I miss? I bought this car stock in Feb 2000, shipped it here to where I'm stationed, have performed 100% of the mod installs and maintenance myself AND all of them over here in Korea using the US Postal Service for shipping (FEDEX for the KB) and it's the...

    What is that thing...

Motor is running running great, but I'm tearing up the T45 tranny. Trying to decide on a T56 or a new TKO500 and find out more info on both. I like the new TKO 500. PM me your snail mail and I WILL send you some :D

    What is that thing...

I take it this is not a joke, yes? If not, then you probably mean the inlet tube that runs from the throttle body, which is attached to your "pony", down the passenger side of the motor, into the MAF, which has the airbox attached to the front side with the air filter inside, and...

I installed mine on my 2000 with just over 53K on the car. Now have 67K and it still runs great, and I do hit the track once in awhile. I see zero issues with your plan. Good luck and enjoy.

    Which freaking wire?

If you don't tap into your light switch you cannot adjust the indiglo itensity with the light switch knob, but if that's not a big deal to you then go direct to the fuse box for power.

    Which freaking wire?

I don't know if yours are any different than mine, but I grounded to a screw behind the cluster pack, and tapped into the TAN wire on the light switch.

    Ticking noise

I've had my PC for 3+ years now and the only ticking I ever heard from it was when I sprung a leak... both sides. Pass side gasket blew and drivers side came loose a bit. Other than that, never a tick from the PC. The noise of the chamber is a distinctive gushing sound, but not ticking...
