    Looks like a really decent starting point. If you can get the original bench seat, I think it would be neat to go with that. They are fairly uncommon. Those wheels have got to go. LOL... They are not from anything specific and are aftermarket low rider junk.

    I'm using the stock center rear speaker grille for a pair of 6x9s in the package tray along with one of those front center speaker upgrades. Someone hacked mine up for a crappy tape deck. I ended up just hacking it more for a DIN unit. This works very well, but doesn't have the look I want...

    Electrical Dim Headlights

    The halogen lights should be brighter. I'm guessing that its a bad ground or high resistance in the old wiring. I suggest installing some relays to run the head lights. I got the setup from RJM Injection.

    Great deal and awesome project. What are you plans for the drivetrain? If you going to dress up the exterior of the car, I'd build up a peppy engine to match. That doesn't necessarily mean you have to to a V8 conversion. You guys could to a tri power I6 with a clifford header etc.

    Why would you put a 2v carb on a 300 hp engine? At least consider an Autolite 4100. I have an Edelbrock carb and am happy with it.

    Those do look nice. My upholstery is currently in great shape, but I would really love to have the sport seats in standard upholstery pattern.

    Ouch

    That really sucks. At least it wasn't as bad as a blue fastback I saw recently. Once it gets repaired, I suggest upgrading the tail lights. I prefer the Scott Drake 3 bulb housings. You can do either sequential or non sequential. The other option is Mustang Project LED tail lights.

    I'd go with the 10 spokes or Magstars in 15x7 and 225 60 or 235 60 tires.

    5.0 Swap Radiator Hoses

    Looks like you were right. The 1970 Mustang lower hose works perfect.
