Can I make my Pro5 handle longer??

I only left the handle longer for 1 day before the first cut but I was able to have the seat a little further back and still not have to stretch for the 5th gear shift. With the leverage of the longer handle it did shift without effort and seemed to not be as notchy as it is now, but I like the...

    trunk badges

On my Mustang the rear Blue Oval has a alignment pin but the Mach1 emblem didn't. I used dental floss to get the bond of the adhesive pad of the emblem to seperate from the painted surface. Some have used fishing line with equal sucess. To remove the residue of glue from the paint I used wax...

To drift or not to drift

Geez, I can’t believe I am wasting my time on you Earl but you have provoked me to do so. Plus I can’t believe this has evolved over me saying to use the E-brake to go around a single pylon. ????????????????? What’s up in your mind? I have been a long time member of Stangnet and have not...

To drift or not to drift

Earl, sorry this is all I will read of your long post since you are WRONG again. I didn't say I never heard of front wheel drive drifting, I said, "Sounds like that is close to impossible", I've seen it done and they do not Drift like drifting is intended to be with RWD vehicles, it DOES NOT...

where was you're first job at?

My first what I consider REAL job was at a full service Sunoco Gas Sation, that was at 15 years old and I'd hitch-hike back and forth until I got my License. Before that, paper boy, bailing hay, dish washer, batching eggs at a chicken farm, cutting grass, shoveling snow, racking leaves, heck...

Trouble Codes On My Diablo Predator & Cooling Fan Question

These codes were there before you reinstalled the tune, right? If so, maybe they were there from whatever you had done and the Dealer didn't clear them. Most codes will clear themselves once the probem is fixed I beleive. Try clearing them and see if they come back. It's stays in the mid to...

    Anyone Have Their Hats Painted?

I used masking tape and layered in on around the pad surface in a circular direction and then layed strips where the wheel seats. I then took an xacto knife (razor blade will work) and cut to the edge where the pad rides and the wheels mounts to the rotor. The Paint I used is a Caliper/Rotor...

    New trans for the Bullitt

The 500 and 600 are most popular, but they need other parts to adapt to the replacement of the 3650. There are kits out that have all that is needed. D&D has trans and kits that come complete, here's their link: http://www.ddperformance.com/

    New trans for the Bullitt

My friend with a Bullitt has had his redone twice since new for similar problems. The first time there was no TSB and the Dealer just replaced the syncros. The second time they did it was per the Tremec TR3650 TSB and all is ok. He does have an extended warrenty on his so it was no charge to...
