    Yup, even with a cheap basic kit, then add the purge, heater, blanket, window switch, gauge, etc. Plus any other gadgets that aren't needed but are nice to have like an extra bottle, remote bottle opener, electronic controller, etc. it could cost well above that.

    Here's a pic of the EGR area that needs to be ground down a bit. I don't run an EGR and usually have just a blockoff plate over this area, so if you still have EGR you may have to grind the bottom to match.

    Agreed with the above suggestions. I used to have a beater '89 F150 that had a 302 and it wasn't the HO version that's in the mustangs and I believe had a different firing order or something like that. It should work well in a classic though.
