    I don't know the tq specs offhand....i took it into my buddies shop, he did the work on it, he said every freakin' plug was loose:jaw: he's run into that problem w/ 5.4 motors as well! he torqued them to spec though as far as I know and he installed them when the motor was completely cold.

    I just used a 3/8" ratchet.....yeah I wasn't expecting any trouble, i've done plenty of plug changes w/ no problem, although this was my first on a stang.:shrug:

    I like: Saleen, Roush, Cobra R, 03-04 cobra, Stalker (but just the front bumper cover for 99-04). I too agree it depends on what else you've got appearance wise. Oh yeah, mach 1 chin spoilers rule!

    Yes I recently had replaced the plugs myself, I would say about 10k miles ago. the one thread is history but my buddy is gonna helicoil it, check the other threads, and I told him just to replace all the plugs, I figure they should all be the same brand in the same condition .     K&N FIPK

    I have the FIPK2 and I love it! looks good under the hood and makes a nice performance improvement. In my opinion CAI IS worth it. Just go with a good make and I would stay away from fender well intakes, my friend had one and drove through a huge puddle accidently, goobye motor!:nonono:

    well it is an aem:rlaugh: i've driven stangs with cai and one's w/out. there is a difference, throttle is crisper, you can hear the motor better, adds some hp and tq. if you have one w/ a metal inlet pipe it is a joke though, because it's just gonna get hot from the engine bay heat.

    well those are great tires, maybe it's just getting to the point that you need a fresh set, having 4.10 gears and all. I don't think that your buddies aluminum flywheel is doing much for him if he's not forced induction. my buddy has an 02 gt with aluminum f/w and he plans on adding a blower...

    +1 it'll get you into the powerband quicker and you'll wonder why the hell ford didn't give you these stock!. 3.73's should do fine and if you get on the highway you'll be glad you didn't go steeper!
