    i had the same problem as about with my 91 gt...they said they wanted to see all the certificates for all the parts saying they were 50 state legal....but i live in new jersey, the suck a$$ state of them all....although i have heard cali is pretty bad for that as well.:uzi: :uzi: :uzi:

    yeah i agree...i think the problem is, that one tends to lead to another, and once people start postin and answering questions is when it gets off track...anyway, i wish i was smart enough to talk in tech and i would join you...:D

    have you ever checked the duty cycle of your iac....i believ it should be like 25-35% at idle....I had this problem when I installed a throttle body, and the screw on the throttle body that is next to the iac was closing due to vibration, and it was essentially making it so it wouldn't...

    Yeah i would too.....soem exhaust leaks came be mistaken for ticks...but if you do have to replace the lifters, you might as well rerplace the heads, cam and intake while your at it......:D
