    for anyone that has replaced a convertible top..

    Did you do it yourself ? My 94 still has a busted out back window that sews into the top.. also it has a couple slashes in the top. I'm thinking of buying a whole top from a salvage yard with the glass still in tact.. but I need to know if it is easy to replace as a whole ?

    how much did you pay for your mustang

    My 94 GT Convertible cost me a whole 2400 bucks.. it didn't have windows or tail lights and missing one mirror.. approx 800 dollars later, I have a whole car... so all in all, to get it back to its factory appearence, it cost me about 3200. and it is completely stock.

    I would like to see if anyone knows what the torque increase from gears over an automatic stock car. my car is an 94 gt aode convertible .. starting with 3.55 how much torque is actually gained in numbers.. not just by feel.

    I seen a firebird convertible with 20's.. and on a convertible.. that didn't look half bad, it was bling bling.. but it still looked good.. on the other hand, the mustang in the above pic w/ 20's looks like ****.

    oh, I have a stock 94 gt convertible.. I'm not just going to jump in backwards and get an intake when the rest is stock. I'll get the headers/gears/coldair/pullies/tb before I get the intake. just like I did last time.

    Why the heck did you put 24lb injectors and another fuel pump on a stock gt ??? If your car is completely stock.. that is tooo big IMO.

    My opinion on No Mufflers...

    I have not had this happen... I can get it to backfire if I just shift the AOD through 1, and 2nd and letting off the gas.. but it isn't even that loud and it may crackle just once.... I think it sounds awesome, it is loud I agree but nothing like "machine gun under your car at acceleration"...

    Yeah.... I would suspect headers and a no-cat x or h-pipe would sound awful cause there would be no muffle to it to tone it down. I have restrictive factory headers and restrictive factory h-pipe so mine sounds pretty good!

    I just have the factory headers and h-pipe.. I just unbolted it from the cats. It really sounds like the borla's I had on my other stang last year.. just a little deeper. I think it sounds great for a free mod.. later on I'll get some mufflers to help the sound outside.. cause my friend said it...

    :hail2: I think it sounds great.. stock headers/h-pipe. no mufflers. :nice: On the other note.. my Oil Sending Unit was a pain in the ass to change... but, My oil pressure is up up up on the gauge.. so that makes me happy... I figure it was my wire but hell, 144,500 miles.. a change...
