A/F Ratio Monitoring, How To Do So

Intersted in A/F ratio monitoring... Specifically, I want the ability to read the A/F through a wideband sensor from EACH bank separately...IE I'd like to have the ability to get a reading from the passenger side bank and then the driver's side bank separately. I've tried searching these...

    AODE........1st to 2nd shift????????????

Exactly...I set my 1-2 and 2-3 shift points to be 5500 with the Tweecer (I also firmed up the shifts with more TV pressure). If you were shifting at 4500, you were leaving a TON of performance on the table! Especially with your setup...I bet shifting at 5500 (or higher, don't know the...

WAY Down on Power... I Hate my Car

I don't think so...it builds pressure fine when it's primed, and it maintains pressure at idle just fine... Too coincidental for me to buy right now anyway. I figure it has to be related to the manifold swap somehow.

WAY Down on Power... I Hate my Car

Nothing at all man.... I've checked everything suggested in this thread and have come up with only one problem- the fuel pressure not changing while revving. I'm going to have to take it somewhere and have them hook up widebands on both sides and see what's up... Thinking of upgrading...

    Fuel Pressure Question, Regulator Operation

No offense man, please don't take this the wrong way as I do appreciate the help... But I'm not looking for the normal trouble shooting stuff with this thread- we covered it all in the other one. I really am just hoping that someone can answer my question regarding fuel rail/fuel pressure...

Thanks!' Tell him to be careful though, that rubber line seems like it can get brittle and it'd suck if he cracked it.

    Fuel Pressure Question, Regulator Operation

Eh, I think you're missing the point... I'm asking: 1. If you block the front fuel tube: Will the fuel pressure regulator work normally? 2. If you block the front fuel tube: Will the driver's side bank get fuel?

    Fuel Pressure Question, Regulator Operation

Breaking this out from my other thread so it gets more views... Let's assume that a Mustang has a stock fuel rail setup. Now, let's take the tube that connects the front of the two rails, and pinch it almost or completely shut. In this case, fuel would being fed to the passenger side bank...

Summit now offers TB's for our cars...

For stock cars/stock intakes, sure...but a larger throttle body will definitely give you more power on a heads/cam/intake car or a power adder car. Slow5.0's experience definitely is a good example of this.

Mine definitely flexes....very noticeably when I pull the rails off with the injectors still in and set it out of the way. Can anyone confirm that blocking the front feed tube would cause fuel pressure to not rise as vacuum increases (RPMs increase)?

    Racing for Pink slips

No offense... But at the moment you are talking **** and have NOTHING to back it up but day dreams. Get the V8 in and then talk ****... Actually, you'd be better off just starting with a V8 car as the swap is a pain in the ass.
