Want to see a Porsche lose badly?

That Coyote-powered Mustang GT don't mess around, kid. Can you even see those tail lights from way back there?

New to Mustangs and trying to decide what to order

The magnaride is something that they don't individually sell, and allows for an almost infinite amount of ride settings, but if it's your daily, you might not get as much of a benefit out of that, whereas the GT350's would on a lap. I've seen some California's, and as much as I like them, they...

    How to buy new?

Aw man Ford cracked down on people giving codes to absolute nobodies on the internet (2018) (https://www.blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/topic/64741-please-read-before-requesting-a-pin/) ... but if you get a membership to the Mustang Club of America, you get one all to yourself...

    How to buy new?

Google X plan. It doesn't take much to qualify and you get it about as cheap as can be.

Hesitant bout purchase of new mustang gt

It all depends, mines pretty low, but I put over half down and took some payments to build up some credit. As for the engine ticking, perhaps it's just luck of the draw, I've put 5000 hard miles on it l, and was doing 150 on the Auto Club Speedway with no issues. Other than the standard GT...

    2019 Mustang GT? Good buy?

I'm rather happy with mine, 17 miles away from 5,000. Took it for a nice run through the desert today, 23.7 mpg doing some good speed in 6th for most of the cruise, with a few skip shift/drops to 3rd which will hit 110 almost instantly. Also got the extended warranty which covers just about...

    2019 GT supercharger...roush or whipple?

Going off of what I know for previous generations, you can't go wrong with either choice... dur. The difference is that the Roush is an Eaton R2650 (Twin Vortices) blower (https://www.eaton.com/us/en-us/catalog/engine-solutions/tvs-r2650.html) and that the Whipple is a Twin-Screw. Back in the...

Automatic redirects to ads/ad sites from StangNet

If you are in Firefox, press Ctrl+U (view page source) and when it pops up the new window, let us know what it says for source of: http://somesite.com. I'd be thinking it's some sort of malware/spyware infection that hasn't been detected by your scan program(s). If someone uses some tricks...

1st time at track in the cobra

What were you leaving the line at? I think that combined with some practice, you could gain a lot of time back from the 2.2x 60s. Down those into the 1.9x and you've shaved .3 there and have yourself in the high 13s.

Greenway Ford service drove my car over 200 miles!

Do you have an investigative reporter doing local crackdowns on one of your local stations? We've got one that's pretty good out here, and you can give them something big or small, and as long as it's something stupid, he'll go in with cameras and make the people look like morons. You're...

    Control Arms???

I dunno, I'd check the bushings in the upper control arm and pretty much leave them be if they aren't broken. Basically, the whole purpose of the lower control arms is to keep the axle from "walking", side to side movement under heavy cornering, and to keep the axle from rotating "axle windup"...

Would you want 315HP or 365HP?

I'd get the turbo v6 in a heartbeat. Here in California it's hard to have power adders, from the factory. I'd do a little tinkering and all, and push that baby to its limits, and back the program down for smog and other times I didn't need it where it was. The Eclipse/Talon/Stealths were fun...

    o2 sensors

I've come to prefer the PLX DM-100/SM-AFR Combo with the Bosch Wideband O2 sensor. Nice setup especially with the DM-100 gauge. plx-dm-100-sm-afr-combo - PLX DM-100 & SM-AFR Digital Display & Air Fuel Sensor Combo - Sensor Modules - Mustang Performance Parts We've put a bunch of these in...

Next Car (most likely a project)

What needs to be said, they're race seats? I'm the same size of you, and found corbeaus to my liking for a nice dd seat and still a comfy snug fit when hitting the track. they've got regular and wide fitting seats, but you should be just fine in a regular width, and whether it's fixed back or...

Next Car (most likely a project)

I'd say either. The SN-95 is a great car, Cobra is even better. The S197 have nice race setups available to them, and offer a very potent platform. Put a couple of Griggs suspensions on GT500s this past week, and wow, those cars can really hug some high speed turns.

    Rear end oil?

Ahh, well tell Justin that Paddy wanted to check up and say hi. Used to run with him when he was out west. Glad to hear it's still in the family, it's a great car. As for the Royal Purple, lately people have been saying (and scientifically proving and posting all over the internet) it's a...
