Justin, that you? We're using 75w90 Mobil 1 and a little bottle of Friction Modifier.

    4V block identification?

Yeah, looks nothing like the one from my 98 Cobra too. With that casting number from a 2000 Mustang, that block could be from a GT and who knows what you have inside.

    4V block identification?

I'm pretty certain that intake is the Mach 1. I know for fact that it's not the Marauder, as it exits to the driver's side. The Aviator intakes exit on the passenger side, but the intake looks like it has these valve cover type humps and a valley on it. Yeah, I'd guess that you have an...

Yeah, that's a lambo motor and interior. I think I saw those guys at SEMA 2006 in the PPG booth, it was definitely something crazy.

    Mustang Turbo

Heh, sorry, I don't mean to brag or call attention to myself, but I would be running two of those and thinking that I should see full boost 15# around 3500-3700, and if I choose to run even more, say 30, I'd see it at 4500 to take me to about 7500. So, while my application may be different, if...

    sn95 4.6 D1sc on 5.0 engine?

Yeah, the 4.6 superchargers are on the radiator side of the belt and rotate counter clockwise, whereas the 5.0 superchargers are on the engine side of the belt and rotate clockwise. It'd be cool if they were universal like that, but, no dice :(

    What Brand O/R Pipe?

If you've got your stock or aftermarket shorty headers, and it'll meet up to the same spot for the catback, so it really comes down to how much you want to spend, and whether you personally prefer the x or h sound. I'd find it hard to believe that there could be too much different a sound from...

ASAP ordering a tuner what one should i get??

Are you thinking of WinPEP? (Performance Evaluation Program) If so, that's just the software that converts the raw output from the dyno into a program that can view, sort, and print the information from the dyno. I'd say that it's like graphic design, it really doesn't matter whether they...

    Mustang Turbo

Thank you billfisher for pretty much saying exactly what I've been wanting to say. Figure out what you want that turbo to do, at what rpm and what boost level, and from that, you can calculate out your cfm, pr, lb/min flow. From there, look through the turbo manufacturers compressor maps to...

    Interested in 1996-2004 GT vert

Oh geez, silly question as everybody knows it'll be 96-98! I'm partial to the smoother bodylines of the 96-98, and since most of the car is the same from 99-04, why not? Our convertible motors are the same, so 96-98 up/down takes just as long as 99-04s (05+ really make us look silly though)...

Questions about tires not lasting long enough

If they're wearing down the middle, then it seems that they're pretty dead on. If you see that your tire wear is on the sides, either inside or outside, then yeah, you'll need an alignment. The tire wear could also somewhat dependent to things like tire pressure, tire wear rating, and of...

TVS 1900 uhm, pics 'n such

That guy with Adidas shell toes has very sexy veiny hands and car keys. Looks great, can't wait to put it on, eh? Those loose parts in the first pic were in a third box, but there was no way I could have shoved all 3 of those into the LCR 97 Mustang parts delivery vehicle.

    Weight Distribution

Yeah, now thinking about it, you're right. I don't put my car on the curb anyhow. Good lord, please don't take that seriously. We all know I park my car in the driveway, jeez

    Weight Distribution

The Convertibles run about 140 pounds more than coupes. Like CobraRed said, most of that additional weight is in the rear related to the convertible assembly and stiffening. Going off of those numbers, we could estimate your rear weight as 1600lbs, or 800 a tire. On average, 17" tires weigh...
