    Update: Head Swap Complete

I hear your point. I am still using stock, unmodified intakes. That could definitely be it. I have other intakes that are glass beaded and thoroughly polished. I was planning to swap those on when I did the head, but once I got everything apart I felt I had enough on my plate for the time...

I ported and polished myself. The shaving didnt cost me much. Maybe $50, and we are talking Canadian Dollars.

    Throttle Bodies

The throttle body on the 2.3 Mustang is not very restrictive at all. Therefore, a bigger throttle body will not increase power and may actually decrease throttle response.

    Update: Head Swap Complete

So guys, I finally got my car running again tonight with the new cylinder head. Mods include: - Ranger Cam & Followers - Port & Polish - Shaved 0.50" I must say, I am very relieved and disappointed at the same time. I am relieved in that the car runs again and now I can sleep again...

What effect does tire size have?

If anything it will increase handling because you'll have more rubber on the road. IMO anyway. As far as performance losses, I dont really see where you are coming from. The only thing that I can think of is having a bigger, heavier wheel, so it doesn't take off as fast. However, 10 hole wheels...

Whats the price of gas in your area

If any one of you American bastards ever complains about gas prices again..... Right now I pay $0.78/litre which works out to approximately $3.12/gallon Canadian dollars. $3.12 Canadian works out to $2.55US/gallon. http://www.xe.com/ucc/convert.cgi There is the link incase anybody...

How much of a hp increase on a stock 88....

Actually, I should be at all 88hp potential because my motor only has about 4,000 miles on it since the rebuild.

How much of a hp increase on a stock 88....

No, I wish I were done, but things seem to be moving slowly. To give an idea of what I have already done. My upper and lower intake have been jet cleaned and glass beaded. If I had a digital camera I would take some pictures and post some, but seeing as how I don't, you'll just have to take...

How much of a hp increase on a stock 88....

To give you an idea of what it would take to reach 150hp in a n/a 2.3. Some of these mods I have already done, and some are still being worked on, but I will hope to have somewhere around 150hp. - Full 2.5" exhaust with longtube header and flowmaster 40 series. - Cold Air Kit - Head...

how many miles should i be able to get off a full tank?

I know what you mean. I have an 88 and I can fit in around 15 gallons or so, but my buddy has an 89 and he can only fit in around 11. Doesn't make much sense to me either.

    How would this perform?

In my opinion, that idea doesn't really sound like a very good one. It would be much more work than a regular turbo swap. Think about it, in order for you to make this set-up work, you will still need to swap in a different computer, VAM, and bigger more powerful injectors, not to mention the...

    stangnet sucks

StangNet has been very cluttered and irritating lately. I don't know how many of you noticed, but I have not been posting very much at all over the last month or two or so. Maybe 20 posts, somewhere in around there.
