    check for side to side play in the dist. shaft while you have the cap off. If the dist. is worn out, the rotor will "wobble" causing it to eat up caps quickly. I have even seen a cap dancing around at idle. Next time it starts its bucking, unplug the MAF sensor and see if the problem goes...

    Those codes have nothing to do with it. They relate to emission control. If it idles perfect, then dont try any idle correction proceedures. I would verify fuel pressure first. Pull KOER codes. It still could be the PIP sensor in the dist.

    You can also seal the area between the condenser and rad with foam or alum tape. This will help draw the air all the way through both coil instead of from around the edges. Is your engine heating up, or is the AC just not getting cold enough for you? I will never go back to a stock type...

    I second the real guage. You can get some sunpro's at the auto parts store for $30 or so. Get oil pres. and water temp. I use manual guages only. Fact is you have no idea how hot it is.

    A buddies car was doing the same crap. He would unplug the MAF sensor and the problem would go away. Try that, its a good temp fix if it makes the engine run right.
