What would be your response to this statement.....

Ah yes, the real life troll. :rlaugh: Let me guess, this guy probably isn't even really into racing. That's the typical "I have nothing" to lose mindset. I once got my @$$ handed to me by a modded TT 300ZX after MY buddy was at work mouthing off to this guy. Thankfully the guy in the 300...

    I'm stuck guys,,,2010 427R or 2011 GT

My feeling is that there are so many special edition/special package/tuner Mustangs out there that even they cease to be anything special. It's hard to keep track of them all and many of them tend to look overdone. Again, that's just me but I have to say, that 2010 427R is pretty sweet. As...

    Foxes Just Sound The Best

A cammed 5.0 is my favorite but I agree on the 4.6 4v. The first time I heard a '96 Cobra with an o/r H and Flows I thought I was in the presence of God's chariot. lol

Picked up a 2011 GT Today.

Congrats man! I ran across a 2011 GT for the first time today. I was in my '92 and when the light changed he hit it and was GONE. It was an automatic but that thing got down the road in a hurry!

what do I need to get this to pass smog?

I'm sure that's one of the first things they check for. I don't see them looking the other way on that because without it you clearly don't have a properly functioning system.

what do I need to get this to pass smog?

It came with the usual "not legal for sale in CA." but I was running the BBK catted x-pipe on my last inspection (before that it was the catted H-pipe). A cheaper option would be to have some cats welded in at a local shop but you definitely need the smog/egr tube as well.

what do I need to get this to pass smog?

I only have two cats. I've always run aftermarket 2-cat h/x-pipes without issue.

what do I need to get this to pass smog?

This was with the '90 in my sig. I think they were more concerned with the main smog parts being in place. Plus, I passed the sniffer pretty well within range.

what do I need to get this to pass smog?

For the record I've passed with LT's twice at two different "smog only" stations in L.A. They never even questioned it. I have cats and all other smog/egr parts are in place.

    New best at track rental(vids)

Very nicely done, 87foxstang. I remember catching the track on a relatively empty day once. I didn't count how many runs I got but it was so many that I eventually got bored and stopped. Something that I never would've imagined. lol

    Found my next mustang

Sounds like a good deal. :nice: Not a bad way to jump back into the game. You're obviously ready to handle any work that's needed so that helps. Have fun with'er!

Ugh! Electrical gremlins are the worst. Is your car back up and running? How's the AOD holding up?

how long have you had your car and how much have you spent?

'90: 16 years. Not counting regular maintenance I'd say around $10,000, which, thinking about it now seems absurd. That's only because my priorities have changed. It all seems worth it when I put my right foot down. lol '92: 5 years and about $3,500. The Pony R's and rebuilt tranny...
