Possible to install engine + trans at the same time?

I have pulled and installed engine/trans as one piece a few times. I use a $26 load leveler from harbor freight bolted to the heads with the rear of the car up on jack stands and the front on the ground. You'll need to obviously remove the radiator to even have a chance and may need to remove...

Progress Thread Hoopty v2.0 - It All Snowballed

I didn't use any spray and have to say, after about 100 miles on the setup my passenger side head is leaking. It is leaking from the middle of the head area and not mixing coolant/oil so mine will be coming apart once the weather gets better and i'm putting elcheapo felpros on the damn thing...

1994 Mustang GT Explorer GT40P Swap

If that egr simulator you have isn't working then you would need to have a tuner disable it for you. Most places if you just call and ask will say no so they can avoid being destroyed by the EPA :) I would probably reseat that simulator plug and pull the battery cables for a little while to...

    Most desirable factory foxbody colors?

I'm a fan of the dark shadow metallic blue color of my daily driver... it pretty much looks black from 10 feet out except when it is in direct sun shine.

Engine First start after 8 months, smoking in the engine bay.

It would be a gauge that attach to the service port on the fuel rail. Service port is about the same thing as a tire valve. You could also press the needle in on the service port to see if fuel shoots out. If it does you have pressure.

ugh, it's tough aligning the fenders and nose up perfect by yourself. I still have to deal with mine on the red car once the weather gets nice again.

    rough ride.

One thing is for sure that mustang isn't going to have stress cracking along the roof line or floor pans....... because of the support to the chassis those subframe connectors are providing. It is amazing in this day and age that there still people who consider tying together a unibody car a...

    Electrical Switches not Illuminating

Not the answer to OP's question but i'm gonna put this here incase someone else needs the rear defrost bulb.. The rear defrost bulb was a 2182 which was the same as a 8640 which is a T-1 1/4 4mm dia. I don't have the car anymore to pull and verify but I believe I picked up and used the 4mm...

Hey whats up! More 2.3 power needed

Simple explanation is : Rangers built with Calif emissions have the EGR tube, O2 sensor port, and the hot air tube so they are a direct bolt up to the mustang. Otherwise some have the o2 sensor port and some don't. If you get one that doesn't you'll have to have a bung welded in. The more...

MUSTANG PYPES 3" STAINLESS TAILPIPE KIT

No, I said swap out the mufflers for something that will give you the sound you want because your not going to gain much if any power from just swapping the catback out on an otherwise completely stock car. Mufflers/catback setups are more so a personal preference so hit up youtube and...

MUSTANG PYPES 3" STAINLESS TAILPIPE KIT

They are really nice pipes but honestly waaay over kill for even a mild built car plus they are a good bit of weight. If the car is stock and staying stock I would just have a set of aftermarket mufflers of choice installed on it leaving the factory angle cut lx tailpipes and rock it
