    KENNEBELL SUPERCHARGER 05 GT

guys and gals, the best thing you can do is just ignore any comments 1fastz makes. He has been banned from other forums for his "attitude" of a self-proclaimed know-it-all. Like I stated, just ignore what he posts and these threads will just go along fine and dandy. :) -Dan

What will running A/F to lean do to the motor?

yeah... There is no way in hell your motor could be running that lean without a Check Engine OBDII Code showing up in your gauge cluster. Hell, you'd probably get a Fail Safe Mode at 18:1. That tuner was just ignorant, something just wasnt hooked up right at the time. What a waste. -Dan

My 05 Mustang Build started today

Oh, you need to look up Al @ boss 330 in Florida, he is THE MAN to talk to about modular motor performance. There is no better in the world. Forget Ronaele or Sean Hyland, dont even share a breath with BBR. If you want to get the best bang for your buck you need to do more research and steer...

My 05 Mustang Build started today

alright... why would TCI make you a torque converter that decreases performance? Stock stall is 1800-2000 and an increase to 3000 is pretty much standard for higher performance street/strip applications. You stated that you still didnt understand the conversation by its end so you should try...

My 05 Mustang Build started today

For starters, a stroker modular motor is going to have reliability issues (try a "short" life span), you should have gone with a big bore kit. For the rest, take care and perhaps you can school some of these kids around here at Stangnet with all those installs. Otherwise, this is just a "look...

    New motor mounts....

What brand headers will you be installing? I didnt have to worry about my motor mounts when I put my Hookers in. I recently threw in some motor mounts, I think mostly because I was bored. BMR doesnt make a seperate mount other than the built in one with their k-member, its just Prothane...

    12 second recipe

uhhhhhh, 3000 stall is going to be pretty much perfect and 4000 stall is way too high. You should do some research on matching components correctly. If your power band lays between 3000 and 6000 rpm a 3000 stall is right for you and can be safely used on the street. 4000 stall for a daily...

    Eibach Pro problems, need help!!!

the shop that did your install apparently doesnt know crap about the 05+ Mustangs. :notnice: Not all cars are the same, sometimes the drop can be more or less per vehicle. Just check the color of the springs. -Dan

what brand and type of header hit??

I dont understand the question.... why would the dealer do that? I dont have any warranty issues with my car that they would attribute the headers as the cause. And, I dont have to smog my car for 5 more years so Im keeping them in place till then. -Dan

    MACH 1 VS. 06

No Mufflers!? The Mach 1 has no mufflers, that isnt stock! :jester: I think what you meant to post that its "stock" right down to the mufflers. Good luck with that, the two of you should switch cars to really see who the better driver is. That would add to the results. Oh, and no racing...

    Throwing 2 codes......

While CAN is a protocol our cars operate on OBDII. BTW, google is your friend... A code P0133 may mean that one or more of the following has happened: * The oxygen sensor is faulty * The wiring to the sensor is broken / frayed * There is an exhaust leak -Dan

Curious, How many miles do you have now?

That driver's seat is pretty damn comfortable, I spend as much time as I can behind the wheel, driving or not. I even take naps... Anyways, since December 28th 2004 I have racked up nearly 18000 miles, its just a bit less cause I didnt recalibrate the tune after installing 4.10s but thats...
