Push button activation of zex kit?

The last few times I hit the switch at the track is was just about 60 feet off the line or until I didnt sense anymore tire spin. Once I get some drag radials out back and return to the strip I will be able to hit the switch right off the line. I should also be able to hold a higher rpm just...

Push button activation of zex kit?

You could always just use an rpm window switch, once you reach a preset rpm the nitrous can activate till you lift your foot off the pedal. 2000-3000rpm isnt really a bad range to activate in either, for drag racing you want that power right off launch. Granted, you need traction. -Dan

    Cervinis Ram Air Hood

No, traditionally a Cowl Induction hood scoops air off the front of the windshield from the rear of the hood. If the scoop on the Cervini's hood was open in the rear it would not have an "opening" in the front in the concept of cowl induction. -Dan

    C&L or K&N???

Im not too sure either, some things that comes from his keyboard dont make a whole lot of sense to those of us that are automotive performance aware. -Dan

    Upper or lowers first?

Thump_rrr, glad they worked out for you but the recommendation is backwards. Lower Control Arms first, followed by the relocation (instant-center) brackets if you want a little more and further adjustability. Switching out the Upper Control Arm is better left to those who need even more bite at...

How much power will a stock 4.6 handle?

Though this guy represents "A Respected Tuner", I wouldnt take his word on much for the 05+ GTs. So many more reputable people have stated that 450rwhp is almost too much, borderline reckless in other words. Controlling detonation is not the key, the Connecting Rods arent strong enough to...

dealer realy pissing me off now

that 96 of yours was built from late 70's tech originally. With about 20 years of development under its belt, it shouldnt have the same issues that the 05+ has had. Your experience, not taken from the actual whole of owners, has proven that the 96 model was built better than the 05. In reality...

dealer realy pissing me off now

Wow, you complainers are really narrow minded. Any smart car person knows that a design change brings some problems with it. This current gen Mustang is supporting Ford Motor Company for a reason, its the best one yet. I would guess that like 10% of Mustang owners are on Message forums and not...

    Bought Myself 2 Christmas Presents!

Yep, it sounds aweful. I do not suggest cutting out your cats if you must have Loudmouth Mufflers. You'd be better off running no mufflers at all. -Dan

    NitrousOxideSystems-Dry kit?

If you want to run your engine super lean and blow it up, I say go right ahead. Dry kits have never been a good idea and there are more engine failures with that style than anything else. Going with a Wet kit is a no brainer but if you really dont like that idea I suggest you shell out the...

    Spark plugs

The ground strap is a solid design from one end of the plug to the other but you still can set the gap, though its only useful for when you decide to use a power adder. Vortech can be reached for a tool to help set gap but you'll still need to use a feeler gauge to be able to reach the correct...

If you want to be sure that your motor isnt going to fail I say stay away from that 450rwhp mark. -Dan

How much power will a stock 4.6 handle?

Hate to break it to ya but real world experience has proven the 400bhp mark a bit low for the rods and pistons. Most breaks are occuring at 450rwhp, this is a bit more than 500 at the crank, and being forced fed of course to reach that power level. The block can also handle quite a bit more...

is it gettting to be too much?

You may not like this response but I have shared it with many others. Take that hunk of junk and sell it to somebody on ebay. Unless you are under Forced Induction SO MANY reputable tuners have said that any larger Throttle Body is just a waste of money when it comes to performance increases...
