Am I loosing my F...ing mind

Is that a DSS with a 302? I would have figured if someone was going to buy a longblock they would have went with a stroker? If that is a stroker those 24's aren't going to cut it. IMO, it's too expensive.

    LOWERING ?

I'm with BlackPearl on this one. I also have a 95 with 18" Saleen wheels. I'm ordering the Eibach Pro-Kit (1.5" drop) and from listening to other people talk about drops beyond 1.5" it sounded and (from the pictures) looked like a really good option. If you're set on a lower drop, such as...

    Mix 'n Match Ignition Components

Alright, in the extra looking and searching I've done since yesterday I've already changed my mind on a couple of things. I'll either go with a Mallory or a Screamin' Demon coil. From what I've read it doesn't really matter if you mix and match brands and coils. That demon coil is hella...

    tko swap?

+1 Or you can use washers for those two upper most bolts in the bell. Do a search and you'll find yourself with hours upon hours of reading on this topic.

    clutch cable

I have the MM cable too and it is longggg... but it's the only cable that seemed to be worth using. I took that bracket off my old cable and put it on the new one also. My routing wasn't too different from the factory routing, but it was a little bit different with the LT's and the tremec...

    Leaded Fuel

I've read that lead is nasty for cats and o2 sensors (and emissions as a whole), but it was used as a valve lubricant years ago. I'm not sure how it would do in our cars though.

    Mix 'n Match Ignition Components

I'm about ready to start putting down the cash for the spring parts but I want some input from you to see if you'd do what I want to do. I've liked MSD stuff for a long time and never had any problems with their components on other vehicles, but I've read far too much about failing 6AL's to...

Brakes, absolutely. When people say night and day difference they aren't exaggerating, it really is.

    Installed new engine wont start

When people use the finger method to feel if the #1 cyl is on the compression stroke sometimes they still mistake it for the exhaust stroke. If you had #1 at TDC on the exhaust stroke and point the rotor to the #1 spot your timing will be 180 degrees off. In that case you just take your rotor...

    Installed new engine wont start

You could not only have bad gas but some moisture in your fuel as well. I'd try and pump your gas tank empty, put some new gas in it and use a water removing additive to your fuel and see what happens.

    High volume fuel pump?

With our return style fuel system you will notice no differences. By upgrading to a 255 now you save yourself the trouble of upgrading again in the future. The only potential down side that people have debated before (which I feel is negligible) is with the extra fuel moving around it warms...

    Balancer Suggestions

I depends on what your rotating assembly was balanced to. Factory is a 50 oz imbalance, but a lot of aftermarket stroker kits and such are balance to 28 oz or for some extra buck, internal (0 oz). Your flywheel also has to be the same imbalance.

    so i drove a stock 00gt

I drove a 2004 40th ann. and laughed because it was so underpowered compared to my car. Even the brakes paled poorly in comparison to my Cobra brakes. I'll happily stick with my pushrod motors for some time to come.

    Supercharging?

At idle I see about 31 psi at the fuel rail and under boost (between 9-10 psi) I see around 40 psi at the rail. Is the 39 psi supposed to be under full throttle? Like I said, my t-rex has been giving me terrible problems, but I don't have any problems with the car or my A/F ratio. What gives...

    Supercharging?

Well said, very good. My argument was strictly with him upgrading to larger injectors. I feel that using a FMU here instead of going larger on injectors is foolish. So, we pretty much agree :nice: Although, at 10 psi of boost my fuel pressure gauge shows approximately 40 psi, so I'm not sure...

    Supercharging?

horsepower (HP) = lb/hr (fuel) / BSFC BSFC is the brake specific fuel consumption of an engine and depends on many factors including thermal efficiency, mechanical efficiency and air to fuel ratios. Most piston engines have a BSFC of between 0.5 and 0.55 lbs. of fuel per hp per hour at maximum...
