16'' or 17'' Torq Thrust IIs?

TONIGHT I just put on a staggered set of 18" Rear and 17" fronts. This is the rear and I haven't dropped the suspension yet, but I'm going to get them nicely tucked in the fender. Who say's you cant stuff 18" wheels with 10" of wide rubber in a 67 and not make it look like a DONK? Not me...

    The First Mustang Project

New radiator mounted; New disc conversion Working in the trunk: New radio: I didnt like the speaker "pods" poking out of the aftermarket kick panels so I made these and resessed the 4" in the door hinge. I think they give a much cleaner low profile look. The...

    The First Mustang Project

With this week off from work I plan to make some serious headway. New aluminum radiator, little bigger then stock so I'm going to have to fab some brackets. I also installed the new (old) battery.

    67 bumpers. Original Vs Aftermarket

I'm not 100% on this, but I do believe there should be a date code on the front as well. 95% sure.

    S.F.Q. For you

As the title states I have a Stupid Fu*&^% Question for you guys. I'm trying to side my new headlight pull rod back into my new switch but it wont go in all the way. I tried my old switch with the same result. It has a springing push jus enough to click it into the parking light position...

    Clutch Cable

I tried the $180 kit on my T5 and it SUCKED! You loose the leverage provided by the z-bar. It wouldn't budge my Stage 2 Centerforce. I went back to the zbar setup. Sometimes the simple things work the best.

I love mine, if you go full throttle it kicks off...when its full it never shuts off, just runs down the back bumper. Lovely.

    The First Mustang Project

We'll hell, if your doing it with the monster under your hood, I'm sure I'm safe with my little 302:) I'm going to give the non power a shot, its easy enough to change out later and since I already reinstalled the pedals and the steering I dont feel like swaping the brake pedal anyway.

    The First Mustang Project

You know, I kinda thought the same thing. My motorcycle (granted it weighs 600lbs and has 2 serious 6 piston Brembos on the front alone) stops with ease without power assist. Also keeping in mind your doing that with 4 fingers vs the strength of a leg. I may just try the manual disc swap...

Anyone have a 67-68 Mustang with a Ford Big Block?

I'd have to agree with the guys...The idea of a "sleeper" kinda goes out the window when you bolt on a 6" cowl hood :) The car is just amazing, great work!!! Love the front suspension, the painted firewall and natural fabbed inner fender combo. That thing is going to be a BEAST!!!

    The First Mustang Project

I took a set of aluminum door inserts and trimmed them down to fit the standard door panels. I think they look pretty good. Wired up the new alt... All the wiring is going between the inner and outer fender

    The First Mustang Project

Thanks! The engine bay is bedliner. I have a brake question for you guys...The engine has a decent cam and will have a low idle. I dont want to run an electric vacume pump for a brake booster. Question is, how much of a difference will just swaping the front to disk make? Will that...

    The First Mustang Project

Hello! I wanted to introduce myself and show you what I've been up to. I finished my last 2 year project (bagged mini truck) this summer and had been feverishly looking for a 67 coupe. I found this one in August and grabbed it up. Its a solid 67 that had been converted from a 6 cyl to a...
