I plan to disconnect the return at the engine and flow into a bucket. That should determine if that is the case when I do that.
I'm also going to swap the injectors just to rule them out as leaking. It will take me less than an hour and one more thing to check off as done. I just have a...
Stuck my arm under with my phone and a light and snapped a bunch of pics and from what I can see, the fuel filter is oriented correctly with the lines hooked up like shown in the above pic in post 350 and flanged end facing drivers side. So i made a mistake. I'll jack car up later and go look...
I pulled plugs tonight and stuck a tube in the cylinder to listen/smell for gas. Nothing. No sign of any leakage from what I can tell. Almost tempted to pull the rail and install my 30s and see if anything changes.
That’s what’s frustrates me. All the changes I’ve made and everything is the...
One thing to add. I only added the fuel pressure transducer after I put the 47# injectors on.
Has anyone ever heard of an injector bleeding off pressure over a certain point? In this case anything over 29psi discharges? I have noticed the cold start takes a lot more cranking now to fire off...
Knew i forgot to list something.
I did voltage drop checks on the original pump wiring and saw some voltage drop. I rewired the fuel pump circuit with new 10G wired direct off the battery to the pump itself through the hanger. Reverified voltage drop and it's very little to none now.
Made...
Welp, I am no closer to solving this.
Did some more testing and verifying. Everything checks out. Nothing changed. I still have a problem. For those just tuning in, if i set my static FP to 39PSI, and then do a WOT pull in 2nd or 3rd gear, my fuel pressure drops to 29psi. This is all...
I don't think that's an intentional cut. Looks like damage/dry rot. It is a vent as you said however.

Discontunued part however. This one is specific to 96+ T5's but you can likely find an older Fox style vent to use...
Just run the top up and down a few times, top the fluid off, rinse and repeat. Wou;dn't hurt to spread it out over a day or two to allow any accumulated air bubbles in the oil to rise to allow you to fully purge the air out.
I still run my quad shocks.
Even with MM control arms, new uppers, all new bushings, bilstiens (tokico's previously) panhard bar and checking my pinion angle I had some hop. So i put them back on and problem went away.
Yup. I've set it to 1500RPM just to see. Cranked it with the fuel pump off and coil wire pulled. Still says Y for RUn when i'm clearly in crank.
Might have to send an email to DIYautotune
The T5 didn't really get a reverse until around late 1992. It was more of a reverse brake than a synchro, and was prone to the reverse cone having the tabs crack off making it relatively useless.
