    It's not all about how big and bad the heads are it's about velocity. Velocity gets the air and fuel mixture inside the combustion chamber. Otherwise you make no hp and it puddles up.

    Why is it so hard to believe you can have good idle quality with a stock roller cam? They are excellent cams retard it 4 degrees to move the power band up and add some 1.7 rr's there you go.

    I see that after buying the radiator you went broke and couldn't afford some wire looms. :rlaugh: Here is my $170 set up including electric fan that is actuated by eec when it reaches specific temp and then switches off when the temp drops. 190 on 180 off to be exact. This is on my 67 coupe.

    Ran a healthy 16.7@88mph quarter in a 289 coupe with 2 barrel bone stock stuff even a 2.80 pegleg. SAD :(
