    I installed my electric fuel pressure gauge tonight. I used a the add-a-circuit fuse and connected it to the one that the radio is on. Anyway when I turned the key the gauge goes to 100 psi which I know is wrong. I wired it up just like the instructions said. Any ideas?:shrug:

    A centrifugal car should be fine with 9.5:1. A twin screw or roots car is the ones that need 8.8 as they are in boost and generating a lot more heat down low. Don't go below 9.0 or your car will be a dog.

    I hate to speculate but it sounds like the motor is blown if its leaking oil. It must have put a hole through the block.

    Well I got the car running. It wasn't PATS either. Get this, when the shop installed my fuel pump somehow the sending unit was not installed correctly so it was showing a full tank of gas in there when really it was empty. The whole time all I needed was some friggin gas!!!!!!

    well its not the motor. I hooked up my xcal II and read the codes and got P1260 which is for PATS system. It won't allow the car to run. I cleared it but I may need to reset the fuel pump or something.

    I already checked for vaccuum leaks and the maf and everything is connected. When I get back from traveling I am going to pull the valvecover, I think it could be a rocker that came off
