    code 96- secondary fuel pump circuit - did JRickers checklist

    69 Must- Have checked, cleaned and tightend all the grounds?? Is the starter solenoid tight to the fender?? If grounds are good, I would try the TFI Module. It that doesnt work. See if you can borrow a known good distributor from someone. Swap it in and see if it makes a difference.

    I dont think that it is a weak connection at the inertia switch as it did not make any difference when I jumped it out. The only other relay in the fuel pump wiring is the EEC power relay. I think that I will replace that and see what happens. Thanks for the help!

    Driveshaft removal questions

    D/S bolts are probably lock tited on. So you will need a torch to heat them up to get them off. Mine would not budge until I got them cherry red. Once they were heated up they came out fairly easy with the double wrench leverage.

    Welcome!! IMO, If you replace the cable, make sure you use a Ford cable. FYI, You can get the Ford Racing clutch cable (same thing as the stock Ford one) for half the price at Summit or someplace like that. I have the Ford Racing clutch cable and quadrant in mine and I am happy with it.
