    The TB and UP might make a difference when WOT where every HP increase means so much to -- in particular -- drag racers. But outside of being WOT, I doubt it would make any difference. Another popular mod related to this is the "TB spacer" mod which is pure snake oil for everyone (right?).

    Personally, I am not a fan of all-black rims EXCEPT on yellow cars. So, good choice. Although, some Black Bullitts with deep dish on the rear would be my first choice. But I do like your pick alot.

    Then you won't have any problem at all. I agree that it is the way to go if you can swing it. It was disappointing to me that you can't just change the speakers without changing out all the wiring, too.

    Yes, but ... the existing speakers are impedence matched to that amp rack. So if you ditch the amp rack, you will have to rewire all the speaker connections and then, that means you can not use the OEM speakers. I wanted to put in new speakers, but opted not to as the re-wiring job was going...

    Well, they have been purchased ... I went with '01-04 OEM-looking headlight assemblies (smoked housing with clear lenses) with Sylvania SilverStart Ultra bulbs. They go in next week. Thanks for all the help.

    We are talking the same thing. I was referring to the housing color and not the lenses. I would never do anything but clear lenses. Smoked lenses look great, but they are not as functional as I would like either. Thanks for the input.

    On my '01, I have already taken the cleaning thing as far as I could. It is time for replacement. I am looking at getting the same OEM smoked housings I have now with some new Silver Star bulbs. Is this a good idea, or do you have a better suggestion for me? What did you do?

    I've searched but can't find the answer ... I have moved up to the Northeast. A friend of mine is offering me some 2005Ford Mustang V6 OEM rims with a snow tires (Michelin X-Ice P215/65 R 16). Will these work on my 2001 GT?? (any other thoughts or comments are welcomed, too)
