You can get an Actron scanner off of ebay that works for OBDII for about $130. Or you could get a program that allows you to datalog like AutoTap for $300 if I remember correctly.
MMR has one and I believe FRPP has updated theirs to be recessed. You can get the FRPP one from a vendor I know for 10% over cost. If you want his number just pm me.
I don't believe using the instrument cluster technique will give you a SES code. Go to autozone and get the code pulled. If it is in fact a switch just get it from Randy Stinchomb on here. Otherwise post up the code and we'll help. :nice:
I still run the stock tune w/ no problems. Just be careful driving around. Always listen for pinging and I wouldn't recommend going WOT in 5th at 45mph.
The KB heat exchanger sits in front of the radiator at the bottom. I think its about 7" tall. Post a pic if you can of your tranny cooler and I'll know.
There's a company in Mooresville NC that coated mine called GoldTronics. I think that was the name of them. It costed me about $25 a rotor. If you want more info I'll get it for ya.
