Generally speaking, no I don't have the math. However, anytime you raise the ride height of a car you affect steering geometry. In the case of a raked car (rear higher than the front), it has the most affect on Roll Axis, Caster, and also Camber settings as the suspension moves through it's...

    Fastest vintage stang?

I've seen both. I definitely have to say the top fuel is WAY more exciting. Even if you were blind and deaf, you could feel the sound waves go right through you. The shuttle is exciting for the shock wave, but watching it silently drop from the sky is pretty uneventful. Take-off, however, is...

    afr engine combo

World Castings makes the heads for Roush. Check out their catalog: http://www.worldcastings.com/docs/wcatalog04.pdf I'm not sure what the differences is between the Roush 180s and the Windsor Jr.

    17's on a budget

Check your local paper for new take-off rims/tire combos. I've seen many $600 17x8 rim/tire combo's in the Recycler (Southern California). The BFG's aren't be best rubber, but you can't beat $600. Here is a set off of a 2002 for $175 (edit: rims only)...

Yeah - but look at the ride height and tell me (with a straight face) the tires are within the fenders.

Uhhh... no. Whatever traction you gain by the big rubber will be lost in the high roll center and seriously raked angle. In my book, it doesn't count if you cant keep it within the fenders (flared or stock).

    Lets talk nitrous...

If you only have the WOT switch, you will get the Nitrous shot every time you floor it. The arming switch overrides this and allows you to control whether you use the nitrous or not. For instance, you would disarm when driving on the street. I disarm, run hotter plugs, and increase my timing...

    Lets talk nitrous...

Benefits of a purge valve? - Keeps the supply of nitrous at the solenoids for instant and repeatable results. It bleeds accumulated nitrous vapor from the supply lines. WOT switch or just a toggle? - I'd go with the WOT switch. This ensures the butterflies are open and you get plenty of air...

    hubcentric wheel adapters

I guess I should have been more specific. H&R are the ONLY spacers to use. Especially if you are running large offsets. I used 25mm on my '99 Cobra and Autocrossed the hell out of it. Never any problems or worries.

The FR500 wheel only comes in 18x9. Largest 18s that will fit are 18x7 front and 18x8 rear. http://www.dodgestang.com/Tire%20Fitment%20Guide%2065-6.pdf

    will these wheel adapters work?

Hubcentric spacers are percisley machined to not only use the wheel studs, but also the shoulder on the axle or brake flange. They can also be machined to be hubcentric to the wheel. It percisely centers the spacer and adds strength to the mounting location. With wheel spacers wider than 1"...

Power to manual steering ? searched 1st

I know on the '66 you have to change the tie-rods. Not sure about the 70. You still have a belt for the alternator so you can just remove the belt and not worry about it -or- you can find some single groove crank and water pump pulleys -or- you can install a trick serpentine belt that...

Suspension guys - probably stupid questions

A spring insulator is a piece of rubber or urethane that sits between the top of the spring and the bottom of the shock tower. It insulates shock and vibration transferred from the spring to the chassis from the suspension. Without them, you will have a harser ride and possibly more noise from...

    Nitrous and Compression ratio!!??

There are a lot of variables, but if you are starting off with a 9.0:1 ratio, you will have to reduce the combustion chamber volume by about 8cc to reach 10.0:1. Considering a 4" bore, that is about .040" you will have to remove. Depending on your heads, the combustion chamber may be smaller...

    Spintech Side Exit System

Personally, I would nix the TCP center brace and run Maier or Global West subframe connector. Except for the cool factor of a side exhaust (which gets a big thumbs up from me), the big advantage of a side exhaust is freeing up space for a panhard bar and/or fuel system. $0.02

I'm not sure about Massaratti, but Pantara's used the 351C, not a 428.
