    99-04 Pedal mod

All mustangs are going to require different lengths. Mine took about a 3/4" spacer, and I used a drywall screw spacer thingy(don't know the name for it) and some zip ties. It works great, except that now I can't help but go full throttle through the gears. The best part is that you can...

Magnaflow cat back install on my '03 GT...

Congrats on the purchase, but which cat-back did you go with the 'Flows or the 'Packs? Since I am sure your "Tech question" is how does it sound with a Pro-Chamber? The answer is better than anything else I have heard, IMO. The sound is alittle more distinct in the fact that it is more exotic...

Will installing a MAC CAI on my 99GT NA hurt it?

I have the MAC kit too, and there really isn't a big HP gain. The only real benefit is the increased throttle response and the bad @ss noise it makes when you hit the fun pedal. The "Darkwolf Mod" is really easy......1)Take off the piece infront of the MAF sensor and remove it from the car...

    The prochamber came today!!!

Congrats on the purchase, you will love the sound! One idea, get it ceramic coated so that is doesn't rust as quickly(if you can afford it). Mine is only a year old and is rusting pretty badly. MILs are of the "hit and miss" variety, some work and others don't, so the brand is pretty much up...

    REAR SEAT DELETE QUESTION

Agreed...WTF is "spelt"? I think you were going for "spelled" but you overshot the runway. Trying to correct someone's horrible english with your even worse english=teh lose!

DO STROKER KITS REALLY MAKE THAT BIG OF A DIFFERENCE?

Ummmm...... I, too, will have to dish out a healthy case of :bs: on the 246rwhp. For someone that claims to know nothing about mustangs you sure throw out rediculous numbers quick. If I didn't get enough with your first 5 post about THE SAME THING, now I have to look at the contradictions...

Anyone with aftermarket gauges on a 99-00...

If you are having problems, like I did, with your tach and speedo being off after installing new gauge faces then I have found the solution! It seems as though Ford had a device in these model years that reads your RPM's, speed, volts, fuel, oil pressure, and other things digitally in the...

    Evilest souding exhaust?

Evilest sounding exhaust...hmm...NONE!! Just cut everything off from the stock manifolds. From the people that have done it, it sounds like the end of the World...so Satan might like it. Now if you want a nice sounding system go with the Pro-Chamber and Magnapacks. This will still piss alot...

dash sound sorta like a cricket

Nice to see I am not alone.... I have been hearing a noise that sounds exactly like a cricket coming from the dash, near the windshield, on the driver's side. It sounds like my front fender is slowly trying to break away from the car. Sorry I cannot lend an answer, but if someone knows what...

    Need some advice please...

The old stang needs to get some serious suspension work done and I need some help. I am thinking about getting the D&D front and rear coilover kits, but do I need to get new shocks and struts with them as well as the caster/camber plates? If anyone has any opinions on coilovers, please let me...

    Exhaust explanation needed.....

Well lastnight I was part of a car show/cruise at a nearby town. Of course during the cruise everyone that was on the side of the street wanted to see some burnouts. The local police kindly put an end to that by handing out tickets to anyone that they caught and the people couldn't put water...

    Mac pro-chamber

Congradulations!! You are the first person that I have ever heard complain about the sound of a ProChamber. If you only have the stock mufflers on it, then of course it will sound like hell. If you really want something that sounds good get yourself a good cat-back then let us know what you...

    MagnaFlow or Flowmaster

It really depends on the type of X pipe you use. If you want an @ss load of drone and a raspy sound get the Flowmasters. However, if you want a nice loud tone get the Magnapacks. They are a straight thru design that will sound great with an X pipe and full length headers.

    the LoudMouth is off...

Yet another vote for Magnaflows. Get the Magnapacks and you will love them!

    Black tinted headlight covers

Sorry to answer a question with a question, but why would you want to put headlight covers on your already tinted headlights? I had them for awhile on my stang, but they broke when I took them off one night. I then decided to pull the ol' headlight switch from a 03 stang. Save your money, the...

fuel filter.. when to change and how much should i pay?

I just changed mine yesterday and it was a breeze. I got the filter from Napa and it cost me $8.99 and the little spring release clips set me back $6.99. The process took me about 15 minutes. The one thing you need to watch out for is the remaining gas left in the fuel lines. It is a damn...

    Magnaflow X or Prochamber?

I have the Pro-Chamber along with the Magnapacks and it sounds alot better IMO. If I did it over again, I would get it Jet-Hot coated and not have to worry about the rust. Someone on here did that and it cost them an additional $100 and it looks great. Pro-Chamber=teh win!!

    prochamber..??

I have had mine for about 7 months and I love it. Everyone compliments my ehxaust and it sounds great! The one downside is the rust factor. Someone on here fixed that by Jet-Hot ceramic coating it and it looks killer.....wish I would have done that.

    0 to 60 time

When I worked at the Ford Dealership all of the Mustang literature said a stock 03 GT would run the 0-60 in 5.8 seconds. I have actually seen that time in a couple of different spots. But I agree with the others, there are too many factors so that is just an estimate from Ford.

    Windshield Cracked on Freeway

If it is a big enough crack to make you think about replacing the entire windshield then here is what to do. First, call your insurance company and change your glass deductible to either $100 or $50. Second, call up some glass shops until you find one that waives your deductible up to $50 or...
