just wondering how safe is nitrous. i was thinking about a 75 dry shot zek system. i saw alot of youtube videos of backfires, fires, and explosion just wanted to know how safe nitrous really is
when switching over to mass air from speed density witch i done. i know theres a map or bap on the back of the firewall. i have converted to mass air. do u plug the vacuum line to the bap the rubber hose part, and leave the bap part open so it reads outside air. what i did is put a bolt in the...
couldnt hook with the nittos 450 series whatever those are street tires i think. so i was think a slick would be better like mickey thompson and how would my torque boxes hold up. i also have 4:10 gear but not sure if i want to install that yet
upper lower intake ,3.73 gear, cold air induction, computer chip, msd ingition, full exhaust, alum drive shaft, control arms, subframe contectors, b cam,190 fuel pump, mass air converted
rt .766
60 2.649
330 6.458
1/8 9.629
mph 78.91
1000 12.34
1/4 14.6
mph 99.43
that was my best time of the day with nitto street tires i believe nitto 450 series
was a disappointment 14.6 with 3.73 gear and nittos tires and upper/lower control arms, and bolt on. spun 1, 2, little in 3rd may be its time for some slicks only way to not spin is to launch at 2000 to 3000 rpms which help a little bit:(:(
i think im going to leave the fuel pressure where it at right at 39 to 40 it doesnt go any higher or lower just stays at 39 to 40. the only thing is it ok that i did it vacuum attach the. fuel stays where i set it 39 to fuel
just started it a little bit of go and everything looks good the idle doesnt drop and idle at 1000 rpms doesnt jump around. i thouht u had to set it with vacuum off i did it with vacuum on seems alot better, dont know why it drop fuel preesure like it did. anyways its a autometer fpr just about...
the fuel pump is only a year old i just dont understand why one day it would run at 25 psi. now i adjusted as far as it would go which is 39 psi. if u turn it the other way it brings the pressure down. i used an allen wrench and adjusted it at the top. i adjusted it with the vacuum line...
today i started the car and the fuel said 25psi when it should be at 39 to 40. now if i had the adjustable fuel pressure reg on there for almost a year why would the pressure change all by it self. its a aeromotive with an autometer gauge. i put the pressure back a 39 to 40 but my question is...
i bought mine new at autozone and my car still had cold idle issues i turn the iac upside down and it runs alot better no more cold idle issues. dont know why but it works maybe somebody can explain that to me
I called summit racing they said its a true one wire hook up pos cable back of alt to the battery or starter. I used battery. they told me that's all I have to do. its a 100 amp alt made by powermaster kind of looks like a gm alt but its universal
ok i went and tap into the black harness on the bottom harness the one on the lower alt. ran a wire from the harness on the alt pos side to pos side of battery, and i still only running 11.6 volts to battery and 11.6 at alt. took the alt to autozone they said it was good. took it murrays auto...
took the alt to auto zone to find out its bad. before i installed i called them to confirm thats its a ture one wire hook up and thats how i ran it power to back of alternator then the other end to battery. i talk to the guy at auto zone he ran his to the starter relay nows whats the difference...
