    I heard you need a big hood actually they only needed to remove some of the hood bracing and it fit under the stock hood.

    dude this is exactly the dilemma I am facing right nor w/ my 97. I pretty much ruled out the 5.0 though. it'll be easier to swap a mod moter cause thats what you have in your car.

    where would I get ahold of injector adapters? also, do I need to find a shop that specializes in these kinds of swaps, or mustangs in general(due to the change of the harness) or is any competent shop ok?

    ive heard good things about Lucas tranny fix, no experience w/ it though. im thinkin of tryin it because im startin to get that occasional shudder that means the autos goin.

    what would I need to do this? has anyone ever done this swap before. for 3k its a lot better value then even a PI headswap. on a side note, weird new look for stangnet, huh? like the corral.

    1997 automatic if the e is 3.27, trac lock, what is the L part for. youd figure the shop manual would have it correct, right. guess not.

    I read in the shop manual how to decipher the vin code to find out what my gear ratio is. the only problem is that whats there doesnt match up with what the shop manual says. the manual says it should be either a 1, a, or c.(2.73, 3.27, etc.) my axle code is LE. anyone know anything about this?
