    A/C Problem

Okay, so I recently bought my old mustang back. It is a 96 GT. One of the things that needs to be fixed is the A/C. On a line that goes from the compressor to the condenser, there is a spot that has been rubbing on a sharp edge of another component. The line is called the discharge line. Now...

    Brown Antifreeze?

I do not know much, but that does not sound like a blown head gasket to me. I bet the other two cylinders test fine and that you just have some dirty coolant. After the test, flush it good and see what happens. If it comes down to it, the head gasket change is pretty intensive, but it is...

I test-drove my old GT! Should I get it back?

I did it. We went and paid 3750 for it. At the moment, I am so happy. I cannot wait to start detailing it and cleaning it up.

I test-drove my old GT! Should I get it back?

After a few text messages he said he would do $3750. I am not sure I want to do this. Money would be tight until I sold my Escort. Are you guys sure I should not wait and find another GT in a few years that is unmolested and do it all again? I did all the work myself... and kind of had fun...

I test-drove my old GT! Should I get it back?

I text messaged the current owner saying I had $3000 cash ready to go. I did not hear anything back so I guess he is thinking? I hope that is a good thing.

I test-drove my old GT! Should I get it back?

You say that as if it was a good thing :) It has not blown the head gasket so I guess I did ok.

I test-drove my old GT! Should I get it back?

I sold my 96 GT over 3 years ago, and have regretted it ever since. Somehow I found my wife and she still wanted to marry me even without the Mustang.... I have been driving a 2000 Ford Escort ZX2 since then. My wife's parents live close to the people that I sold my 96 GT to, and so...

Pi swap guys, stuck on the dip stick

When I did this a few years ago I had to have someone help me. The person above the engine would slowly lower and twist the dipstick as the person underneath lined it up and forced it into the block. I don't know if you have the same tube that I did, and I had MAC L/Ts, so I am not exactly sure...

    you're not gonna believe this

I hope I can find a deal like that when I am ready to buy. What is the condition of the car? With only 72k on the car it can't be too bad. I wish that when I sold my GT that the guy would have offered to cancel the deal. That was a nice gesture and very honest, way to go. By the way...

If you were to sell your 4.6 GT

I love the looks of the Challenger, but I think the Camaro would be the better buy for having a fun driving car. I have heard that the Challenger drives like a 2door Charger. I am just not that impressed with that. However, the all black SRT8 Challenger does look pretty bad.

    Pics of my stang

Looks very nice. I like the wheels and the brakes. Normally I am not into mixed badges, but I like the 99-04 GT fender badge. Way to go. How many miles are on it?

    Blew a headgasket

I did a PI headswap on my 96 GT back in the day. I had never done something like it before, and it all turned out all right. The motor did not have to come out of the car. When you do the bolts on the head, just use different combinations of extensions and you can get them all. I would...
