Install advice for 66 coupe trunk seal.

What supplier did you guys order your seal from? I need to redo mine and was told the ford gasket had fitment issues. Really, mine looked good installed , but when we closed the lid it looked like crap as far as fitment. Thanks

Install advice for 66 coupe trunk seal.

Subbing. I installed mine after paint to trunk lid and the fit was horrible. Actually caused trunk lid fitment issues. Ended up having to do alot of trimming to seal to get the lid to even look flush on all the corners. Good luck

    Hydraulic Clutch Issues

Had the same setup on my t5 and converted it over to the t56. It did take awhile to properly get bleed. My setup had the shaft and a locknut plus another jam nut. Once I got the preload adjusted I tightened the locknut & jamnut together and haven't had any issues. Good Luck

    Broken shock tower options

It diffently handles better than the stock setup. I could tell a huge difference. I also done a power rack due to I was building a cruiser and possibly a few trips to the strip every now & then. You will gain alot of room, which will make your engine possibilties endless now or later on down the...

    r&p on 65 coupe questions

Unless your making 600+ hp. The 3" exhaust will compromise the torque of your motor as ihadagt500 quoted. Do some research on the web also for a r&p system and check your options out. The research might give you some ideas you can play around with before you start cutting and welding to try and...

    fiberglass hoods

I have a meiyr racing hood on my car. The fitment wasn't even close. Had to widen it on each side and cut it half way down the hood on the driverside due to it being to low in the center. We had between 50-60 hrs in bodywork to get it to look descent.

shock tower chop in a 66

I had the same concerns when i was running my 351W. I had the Hedman swap headers and they were tight. Once you remove the towers you'll have plenty room. Actually it'll make the motor look small.LOL. Later on down the road the possibilities of a new engine & drivetrain are endless.

    mod motor in classic

I was hesitant at first. Always been a carb guy and grew up in the 5.0 error when the fox bodies ruled the streets. I still own a 95 gt 5.0 that i drive daily and had a 351w in my 65 before restoring it. We decided to install a 4.6 DOHC from a 03 Cobra into the 65 during my rebuild. It was the...

    Which wiring harness?

I went with the EZ Wire harness. Everything is labeled and straight forward. I personally think the Painless kits are overpriced & there tech support are unfriendly. I saw the AAW kit at Goodguys ,and was impressed with there kit. Which ever way you go will be better than your current wiring...

    Installing '68 Coupe Windows

And I thought my luck was bad. I would diffently try and make the installer follow up & reinstall. I wonder what they were even thinking? How difficult to replace inner fender apron?

I ordered from both NPD & Mustangs Unlimited. It seems like the fitment issues were better with the NPD sheetmetal. I replaced my inner fender apron around 8 years ago due to rust & it wasn't to difficult. It was the first panel that i had replaced and was kinda learning as i went. Good Luck
