    the alternator is fine, i had it tested. it is "black with orange" i guess.....the car is 18 years old... i suppose i need thicker wire, since the alternator that i just got is a 200 amp?

    our 2005 model crown vics make 250hp at the crank. i dont know exact numbers, but the 07 i drive is noticably faster than my old 05. several departments in GA have SRT8 chargers, there are a bunch of marauders around also. a cop car can be anything. we even have a couple of old muscle cars...
