    I would shorten up the chain as much as possible first, then if it still wont clear, I would remove the wheels and lower it down as far as possible. I think Jinx meant disassemble the accessories on the motor.

    Last year I was in the same place as you! Excited to get my car back, put the blower on, and drive it! I was supposed to pick up my car from the body shop the first week of June. Just got it back last month.:notnice: Hopefully you have better luck than I did! Hope your paint turns out...

    I think he was referring to SBF not SBC motors! Those vortec plastic intake gaskets can leak like CRAZY when they go!

    Aftermarket Hood Question

    I had seen a pic a while back were a guy had mounted 1 hood pin on the underside of his hood, so that there was nothing protruding through the hood. I don't care for the look of hood pins so I think I am going to attempt to do something similar when I do my pins.

    I would check into bid sniper if i were you. I use it regularly, you don't jack up the bid, and almost never lose, unless another bidder is using a bid sniper as well! I haven't lost any with it tho.

    being a 1.9 valve head, they should clear fine, but it couldn't hurt to check piston to valve clearance when installing. Also I noticed in the item specifics it says "Holly systemax HEAD", and in other places it says headS. I would verify that it is actually a set and not 1 head. Watch out...
