    Supercharger Questions

(imho) Do not run an FMU. Buy a good quality fuel pump which can supply the needed volume, buy a good set of injectors that can keep up with the desired hp output... and then let the Pro-Flow do it's job. Also don't waste another penny on a t5, save a little longer and put a tremec in it...

    13" cobra brake problems

Also of note is that "cobra" brakes ran diff bore size m/c and also diff size pistons in the calipers in diff years.... so get what was factory designed to work with your parts and it will do just fine. If size is a huge issue for ya, you can call up willwood and get a cute little alloy m/c...

    93 cobra mass air meter

The cobra (X3Z) tune would have the correct transfer for the cobra MAF obviously, but your cnl could be "recalibrated" (and I use the term in the most general way humanly possible) by swapping the sample tube. Now that being said, why would you want an X3Z tune over your current one...

    Transmission cooling lines

...there are also minor changes in wiring, suspension, etc... aside from the cosmetic diff. just so ya know. :nice: (also when ya mount the trans cooler, try to NOT mount it too high on the vehicle. When my pop's bought his truck, tranny cooler was mounted up high on the core support...

    What mild cam ?

    1. aircraft run at 2-3000 rpm. 2. have you ever seen a port in an aircraft engine?!?!?! (hint: 1930's tech... makes a harley port look GOOD by comp :rlaugh: ) - they wouldn't gain enough bennefit from exhaust pulse timing/tuning to make the effort/weight worthwhile. 3. compare dyno...

    What mild cam ?

(imho) I would hold off on a cam swap untill you go H/C/I/stroker/etc... The 94-95 computer programming is a little *picky*, it isn't as forgiving as the 87-93 code and it tends to frown on things like longtubes and bigger cams. So you may want to hold off on cam untill you're ready to...

    Aftermarket Mass Air & Sensors

(imho) 30s should be fine. If you go bigger than 36's some people start to run into idle quality issues... (not all, but some) Whatever meter/inj/etc you wind up with I would budget another 5-600 to spend a day with a QUALITY tuner, at a local dyno facility and get them to burn you a...

    Wheel Adapter Spacers??

Max Motorsports, H&R, Steeda, etc... pretty much all the big name brand outfits will sell a good quality product. Any small problem in the spacer can lead to vibration, noise, adverse tire wear, or worst case a great big crash... so spend a few extra bucks and get a name you can trust. (imho)

    Upgrading Suspension

The 2300K kit (sn95+ brakes) on a fox is a real easy way to go. *not sure if it's a bolt on all the way back to 82 or not... but one of the sites that does kits could tell ya* The instructions are nonexistant, so use a i-net or magazine article (there are about a zillion of em out there)...

    93 Cobra brake booster install

Yeah, it's not that bad. Even on my 90' about 6-8 "taps" with a 5lb sledge and it cleared the shock tower. :flag:

    Tuning!!!

(imho) A dyno tune is always the best way to go, if you're tuning it yourself or paying a tuner to do it... it's best to have it done on a dyno. It gives you the ability to simulate conditions, apply loads as desired, etc... actual conditions as required by the comp, not just "educated" guess...

    '86 H.O. EEC-IV Tuning

An E cam isn't very large at all, it should pull plenty of vac at idle for an SD car... I would first look for all possible causes of vacuum loss. Leaking gaskets, old loose hose connections, cracked/pinhole vac lines, etc, etc... dont forget to check all the ancillary emissions systems too...

    306 supercharged 450fwhp - Input needed

lol... yeah that's it kid, I'm the one who needs the lesson in how it works. :rlaugh: :nice: Guess you've never seen a broken wrist pin, broken rod cap, backsided ringlands, broken skirt, broken ring, dropped valve, crank snout sheared off, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc... You i-net cowboys...

    306 supercharged 450fwhp - Input needed

Look man, here are your choices: (as I see it) Go cheap and hope it works, some think it will... some think it wont. (my 40 years exp says it wont, but hey... I could be wrong, it's happened before) Spend a little more (say 1500 in parts vs 500 in parts... *bottom end only*) and KNOW that...

    351 Cleveland headers

I did, but I built my own (cuz I couldn't find any that fit well). But I have a 4spd car... with an auto you should have lotts of choices available. I know that's not exactly the info you're looking for... but it may help somebody out there so I'll digress for a min... If you can weld...
