    AFS rims, how is quality???

    Damn those look good. Well I got about $400 saved up (don't have a real job yet) so this makes me feel a little better. How much would the rubber for those things cost?

    Every shop says 3.73's over 4.10's

    N/A.. 4.10........... S/C 3.73............I think that about settles it. I will be getting 3.73s then because I plan to blow my car, once I get it......errr ..by blow I mean super or turbo of course.

    What's the difference?

    Sorry for the hijack but can someone enlighten me as to how a different shifter is considered a mod? I see all the time in people's sig, "steeda tri ax shifter" or others like it. Does that in anyway improve the cars shifting ability or something?

    How to fix Chrome Rim Scratch

    If it is that bad then buy a new one.....if it is only noticable when you are washing the damn thing then maybe it will be okay...How big of a scratch are we talking? Pics?

    From old to new........

    Well I love the 65 to pieces but there is too much to do. I was going to put all the things in to make it like a modern car, PB, PS, A/C, and it just makes sense to start out with a better car. I will return to the world of classics one day.

    Yeah but money is the biggest thing, is a GT cheaper than a Cobra? I think that the GT is less expensive and not as fast but I could be wrong...either way money is the biggest thing here.

    I usually post in classics and I will sadly have to cut my project short and sell her probably this summer. I will be on the lookout for a newer model mustang with a 4.6 obviously. I don't have much money and will probably get around 7-8K for this one. What is a good base car to start with that...

    front discs suffice just fine but 4 wheels has minimal improvement in stopping power depending on how much pressure is applied to the rear discs with the proportioning valve. It also looks nicer....If you don't plan on having entirely too much power then you should consider the explorer...
