    Acutally your dead wrong. I tune totally different than most tune files I've seen from other shops. I set spark curves up TOTALLY different. SCT base files are setup on "load". I dont tune this way. I set spark curves so there is no way they will change based on load. Load tuning is dangerous...

    You can make a mail order tune dead on with the MAF curves. 90mm LMAF's are within less than 1% of themselves. If it wasn't possible you wouldn't see perfect 11.5-18 a/f's on mine or other mail order tunes. I have to date tuned over 4,000 cars. I tune 3-5 cars a day ranging from 240rwhp N/A...

    99-04 are direct drop ins. The only difference would be if your supercharged. In that case 99 -00 have larger bolts in the timing cover than 01-04. If its N/A,any thing from 99-04 will bolt right up.

    More then likely it will be lean and have some idle/drive issuses. Other than that,if you can deal with the driveability glitches you'll be fine. You could also have your tuner send a file to help with it some until it gets tuned. Tim

    My 2 valve runs 9.90's @ 140 with a 5 speed,A/C,stereo,power everything. Car weighs 3525#'s. It went 9.90's with 700rwhp. It just made 919rwhp all blower so we'll see if we can run some low 9's with it. A 9 second daily driver is easily doable,but $15K won't even come close.

    Car as it sits is making 742rwhp(18 psi). It has made 832rwhp(24psi) but we pullied up to dial the car in. I'm running it in 2 weeks with 21 psi to see if we can get a 9.60-9.70 out of it. We also have a 250 shot of nitrous we have not even turned on yet. My goal is a low/mid 9 second street car...
