    any S197 Air Conditioning Tricks?

I started using the recommended method, and it helps quite a bit in cooling the car down faster.

Headers and crossover pipe with RoushCharger

The shorttube headers really don't do MUCH, even on the supercharged cars. If this were another car it would be a different story, but we are all fortunate enough to haev good manifolds. If you want short tubes let me know. I have an unused set I can sell you cheaper than the sale prices on the...

    Thermostats

That's what I was thinking. I didn't think there was a lower temp therm at first, but now I need to see if its going to be an easy fix and if so, here I come! Any more ideas about it?

    Custom Aluminum Quarter Window Scoops

Is that a flat black spoiler on the car? I was thinking of doing that for my Mineral grey as well, but I already have flat black all over and trying to avoid looking like a Daytona.

    help had hip replaced

My clutch takes a lot of force to hold it down, but it's some aftermarket one that disengages at the floor. :-( All the stock ones I have driven are easy to push in.

Which Vacuum line do I pour the seafoam into to fog out my motor?

quick question about the track and our cars

I usually only use ice on superchargers. I take a pump sprayer (like the one for spraying weeds and stuff) with ice and water so that I can spray down the radiator/intercooler surfaces. The I put a big party bag of ice directly on top of the blower between runs. I also set my fan temps to...

CAI vs Good HI Flow Filter

What you are concerned about is CFMs I suppose. The CFMs pulled in with a CAI vs the stock box WAY offset the difference in temperature. Just get a plastic armed CAI so that you don't get as much heat soak. If the CAI intake was not as "efficient" as you say, then how is it making more...

Headers and crossover pipe with RoushCharger

I have experience in this field. It's not difficult at all to remedy your situation with the right equipment. As stated earlier, stick with the catted-pipe and you shouldn't have any major issues. I can tell by the way that you phrased your original question that your intention is to...

    any S197 Air Conditioning Tricks?

The A/C works just as good as most cars I've had. The cars that cooled down faster for me were the ones that had REAR A/C VENTS as well.

    Rear end noise

I had to loosen the clamps that were holding the midpipe to the hump that goes over the exhuast and take off the mufflers. Then I rearranged the pipes until I had better clearance and then reinstalled the mufflers so those lined up straight again.......And by muffler I mean straight pipes, lol...

    Rear end noise

I had a clunking noise. Turned out that my exhaust was hitting the axle. Check yours out and see if that might be happening for you too.

    Rear end noise

Your rear end should be quiet unless the pinion is out of alignment or whatever. Mine made noises at a cold startup when I backed out of my spot, but I put Royal Purple in there and it went away. I had a different noise however. Your '08 needs to go to the dealer. No reason to spend money...

CAI vs Good HI Flow Filter

There's no comparison between the two. The difference is night and day. And the FRPP intake is basically an overpriced joke.

    Will the Mustang survive?

If we spent the hundreds of billions of dollars from the past few wars we fought (Might actually be in the trillions) on public transportation and other important infrastructure our country would be amazing. But as for now we are resorting to nothing more than the modern version of riding our...

    Thermostats

I have not seen much talk about Thermostats on this site, but I see that Hypertech makes Thermostats for our cars in 160* and 180* range. Does anyone have one of these? I used a 160* on a few cars before from Hypertech, MR. Gasket etc. But I didn't think they had them for our 05+ cars...

Hurst S/T not sure how I like it..

I've been thinking about how bad the stock shifter is. It's decent for everyday driving, but it's a sloppy feel for drag racing. I tend to miss either the 2-3 or the 3-4 shift. Some if it has to do with my clutch, because the clutch I have engages right off the floor, so I have to learn not...

    Will the Mustang survive?

I think as long as people are buying cars they will buy mustangs in the same proportion. Gas is $8 a gallon in Europe and they still drive BMW 7 series, and Ferrari's. It's not that we need to blame cars for the gas prices, let's start putting blame on the oil companies. My Mustang didn't make...
