    Got my GT dynoed!

    If you want to flirt with 300rwhp N/A you will need L/T and cams. Vt stage 2 cams on a stock 00 gt gained about 25-30 rwhp abouve 3500 and even more at 6000. 300rwhp is very possible n/a but not cheap.

    New tires

    I just finished a set of Nitto 555Rs and I highly recommend them. It will solve your tire spin problem, next best thing to slicks. But like spikeGT_99 said they dont last long. I had mine for about a year and that is with no tread and the metal showing.

    You should be able to stop light to stop light . I beat 99 up (ls1) z28, SS, trans ams at the 8th with my mods and thats without the X pipe.

    Car lowering question....

    I used BBK springs with pro3i Caster Camber plates. Some say they are not needed but I think the CC plates are a good idea to get the right alignment. This setup lowered my car 1 1/2, I wish it was 2.

    is 180* t stat worth it??

    I would say its worth it. Where I live you need it running as cool as possible in the summer. I personally put in a 180 stat, 160 is too cool. I added royal purple water wetter, and added a fan switch. I would say for 5 bucks and 10 min why not.

    180* thermostat questions

    You can get one for five bucks at auto store then it takes 10 min to change it out. Easy mod. I did the thermostat, water wetter, and the fan switch mod and its runs alot cooler.

    LS1 vs 04GT

    I can beat mild ls1's in the 8th mile all day, trans ams, z28, and ss but they were pulling on me at the end. If it were a quarter they probably walk slowly by. Most likely a bad driver, there at every track.

    This might not be the case but there reason mine wont go off is because the floating sensor has floated to the bottom and even thought its full the light will continually stay on.

    I belive that you have to have a carburator. When you press the button you make it the engine run rich and unburned fuel get shot out the back exhaust where there are spark plugs, which causes the flame . You have to change your oil more frequently because the fuel washes it off the cylinder...
