    Yep, which is exactly why I'm going LT's. To many of you have said the shorties aren't worth it. However, I'm still a little confused why Ford Racing would only sell shorties and not have someone do LT's for them as well.

    BBK, FRPP, or CAM are the ones I was looking at. Now I'll be going with LT's and a catted H-pipe. Still haven't decided on brand for the LT's. You might as well throw the JBA shorties in there as well.

    Go to Kauai!! Not as populated and you have the Pacific Grand Canyon to explorer. Plus all the other amenities Hawaiian islands have to offer. Oh, I lived/stationed in Hawaii for 5 years and wouldn't go back to Owahu if you paid me. Well, you'ld have to pay me a lot!!!:D

    When I put mine in I was suprised but not disappointed. I love the Hurst Shifter now! I thought about a T-handle but the white knob with 'HURST' on the side looks just right.

    Hell, I've shifted into 3rd at 80mph. 2nd I would say somewhere around 40mph should work.

    Make sure you have some Lithium grease and lock tight (the removable kind, I think blue LT). Install is easy. I'm a novice and really didn't have a problem except getting the tools together (that took longer than the install!)

    It can be added your just not going to see the 20-25HP marketing number. More like 12HP or so. Keep in mind I'm using these numbers as an example.

    Everything I've heard and read says. The gains are stand alone HP gains. So if you add CAI, Tune, and Exhaust do not expect to get the numbers stated. Meaning if the marketing department says. CAI=20HP Tune=15HP Headers+O/R H pipe=30HP This will not give you 65HP and to be honest I have...

    Nicely done doodad!! Did you have to shift to 4th? I was under the impression that it wasn't necessary from a few articles I have read in some mustang rags. Although when they put the 4.10's they short shifted 3rd and still gained .2 seconds on their 1/4.

    So since the weather is in the crapper right now how do we know if PIR will be open or closed? Call them I guess but when do they make the call to cancel racing? I'm mean if it stops raining a 2PM will they be open for racing?
